Hi guys, I just pulled the trigger on this--I can't help it, I'm drawn to cigalikes. I don't see any reason why a cigalike can't be made to satisfy as well as a regular cigarette, maybe this is the first one that will (I hope).

I will be sure to report back what I find out.

Hi guys, after some monkey business with the USPS, I have taken possession of my new Juul package. I've been hitting on it for only a few hours, and I must say I think I like it. I think I like it a lot, actually.

As for the hardware, it seems solidly built. It charges as quickly as they say, and the magnets that hold the Juul onto the charger are strong enough to hold the Juul sideways--this is important since my USB ports are aligned vertically in my desktop computer. I used a AC adapter from my cellphone with the Juul USB charger, and it all worked brilliantly. I also rather like being able to check the charge level of the Juul. Tap it twice to see green, yellow, or red; it's a lot like my Innokin CLK batteries, so this seems comfortingly familiar to me.

As for the juice, well it's not my favorite Nicoticket flavor. And, the vapor quantity does not keep up with my Nautilus. I would say that the vapor quantity of the new Blu tanks are a bit greater, even. But, gosh, the Juul does supply the nicotine better, and thus it satisfies without big clouds. For the first time in a long time, I don't feel chained to my PV. After awakening this morning, I was able to happily vape the Juul, and then "easily put it down for a while." Normally, I would be huffing and puffing on the Nautilus like a steam engine, and still not feel "quite right."

It's the last point that compelled me to give the Juul a test--it's great that I have been off smoking for 3.5 months, and that I've brought my nicotine down from 24mg to 12mg, but I have not felt quite right in a long time. Rather, I've been feeling like just a guy that's able to stay of cigs for a while, but not necessarily jazzed about it. But this morning I felt pretty good. It will be interesting to see how I get on at work.

I will report more as I continue using the Juul.

New here! I just wanted to jump in on the Juul discussion. I have been exclusively an analog smoker for about 17 years, half a pack a day. I saw the engadget review and decided to jump on it with the 25% off deal. Juul arrived on a weekend and I went back and forth between it and my regular cigarettes but by monday morning leaving for work I had my half-a-pack of analogs and my juul sitting next to one another and opted for the juul. I realized I actually enjoyed it more than my camel blues. The battery is a non issue for me as I have a desk job and can just pop it in the usb on my computer and the pods have lasted me 2 days each. SO, if it was taking me 2 days to get through a pack of cigarettes and one pod is equal to a pack of cigarettes, Juul nailed the pod to pack ratio IMO. It hits like a traditional cigarette, I feel the nicotine absorb into my system like a cigarette and the vape cloud is similar to that of a cigarette. I like the tobacco flavor more than my traditional cigarettes. The build quality of the device is really nice, and its super light in weight which was important to me in switching seeing that cigarettes are virtually weightless. Since that monday morning I opted for the Juul I haven't had an analog cigarette, my wife smoked the remaining pack I had lying around and has since picked up her own e-cig. The only side effects I have noticed from the switch is a couple restless nights. I haven't had an analog now for almost two weeks, ordered the subscription service from Juul and have never been happier. Let me know if you have any questions, my point of view on the product is that of an analog smoker, I understand people on this site have invested time and money into vaping and know a lot more about it than I do so I can only really recommend it for someone looking for an alternative to traditional cigarettes

I read it had 50mg (5%) liquid in it. If one pod is 1 pack (it could be) then where does this leave all the other cig-a-like manufacturers who used to claim one 16mg cartomizer was 20,30 or even 40 cigarettes, I wonder? In the bin, I hope. Where those scam products belong.

Good for Juul. What they nailed was working out even 50mg is closer to the yield of real world cigarettes puff for puff. :)

Agreed. If it was any less I probably wouldn't have been able to transistion so quick. I also only puff on it when I normally would have smoked a cigarette for about as long as I would have smoked a cigarette.

I tried both 16mg and then 24mg cig-a-likes. Then a different make and then a more extensive system altogether. There was never a transition as such, as I just kept smoking.

$800 on products which didn't work. Finally a company has decided to "get real". :)

OK, so I went and got a kit from my local Exxon with just the tobacco flavor (none of the others interested me)... strictly meh.

No way this has 50mg nic. If it does, it's REALLY inefficient at delivery. Feels like the nic hit from a 12-18mg juice in a Nautilus Mini. Nothing really new here other than a proprietary (read expensive) shape, port, charging, and juicing format. Not worth it, IMO. Much better to get a GOOD refillable cigalike, if that's your thing.

no interest, guess I will pass previous pack or better a day for 40 years current vape only -use Istick with nautilaus and a kanger sub tank make some of my own juice. vaping is working fine for me for past 3.5 months , no cravings, no desires no interest in a 50.00 gadget delivered monthly ( might as well smoke) vaping appeals because it is cheap but mostly because I can control it via DIY

I love the Juul. Have been using it exclusively for about a month. For a couple of years I used two different e-go-types (Kanger and Joye-Tech), but Juul is much easier and a lot less fuss. It has a lighter draw for the same or more vapor, consistent delivery, and strong nicotine content, so, five puffs and I'm satisfied for a while. I use two juul pods per day, where I used to use 15ml and atomizer replacements every few days. It'll cost me a bit more as an ADV, but it's slick, simple, satisfying and fits in a pocket without making any weird bulges. Highly recommended. I like the mint, tobacco and creme brulee flavors. Not so keen on the fruut.

Was very curious about the Juul and rolled the dice and bought it. Not very impressed.

For background, I used to be a daily smoker, have been vaping for a couple years, initially using a cigalike, and then a ProTank. The issue I wanted to solve was that, while I don't smoke cigarettes at all anymore, I hit this dumb thing constantly, like all day. I kept reading about people using the Juul feeling able to hit it a few times and then put it down, which was attractive. And I also find the gear I've used (ProTank mini, Aspire) to be annoyingly fussy and require constant tweaking and attention. So I'm open to finding a quality, simple, standardized solution. But on the whole, I don't think this will work as a replacement for me.

First the good: It definitely packs a punch nicotine-wise, and I can see why some people like it. And I thought the vapor cloud it produced was fine, comparable to other cigalikes. If I were someone trying to quit smoking for the first time, or looking for an alternative to gas station cigalikes, I think it could be a viable option.

But that's also the bad as far as I'm concerned: this is basically just a slick-looking cigalike, except with much more expensive cartridges than the ones I was using before (A Clean Cigarette), and with no ability to control how much nicotine you use.

For me though, the biggest issue is the taste, which is just nasty. I prefer tobacco flavors, and I've been able to find several good ones I like (many from Halo). The Juul "tobacco" flavor is just terrible. Like I can't hit it without almost gagging.

If I get to the point where I really just want to quit vaping for good, I may pull this thing out. Otherwise, I guess I'll stick with what I've got until I find something better. For me, the Juul ain't it.

Love ghostbusters. Isn't there a remake in the worx? Sorry to be off subject...

I'll probably give Juul a try if I can get a nice discount. The thing costs like $50 bucks! I can't justify spending that much on a cigalike. Of course, I havent seen it or tried it so I can't say for sure but I'd rather get a nice mech, some atties or alotta juice for that amount!
Speedway convenient stores sell them for $37.50. The refill cartridges are $16. It's the same price as if the website offers you their discount.

I, too, am new to Juul. After smoking for nearly 30 years, one week on the Juul and I'm off of cigarettes completely now for over 10 days! I was just like you. I alternated between the jewel and analogs but found myself wanting the juul more. I am so excited to have found this product! Also if you want to save some money, Speedway convenience stores sell them for the same price as the discount on Juul.com without shipping costs.

Did you buy the kit? Have any idea how long the cartridges last etc? Still have not seen any detailed reviews out there anywhere. It does sound interesting from what little information is out there.
Speedway convenience stores sell jewel! It's also discounted. The price of the kids is $37 and the refill cartridges are $16.
I was a two pack a day smoker for nearly 30 years! After less than one week of using the jewel I was off of cigarettes completely. I have now been off of them for 10 days using only the jewel! I was such a heavy smoker and did not even want to quit but the jewel allowed it to happen! My family is ecstatic!
For me the Jewel is equal to a cigarette if not better. The nicotine is almost instant. I don't know much about ECigs, but for me the Juul is equal to a cigarette if not better. The nicotine is almost instant. I don't know much about ECigs/ vapors but have tried several over the years. Only to become addicted to both the vapors and my cigarettes. With the juul I wanted it more than the analogs! It is truly a miracle for me!!!

Please do. Just not sure if I want to pull the trigger yet. Biggest concern is how long the pods last. But if it satisfies quicker than regular e juice..(I use 24 in eroll) the cost on the pods may not be to bad. Thanks in advance if any one else cares to share. There is 1 review on YouTube now..but is just basically how it works.
I was a two pack a day smoker. I started the Jule about two weeks ago. Within less than a week I was off of the analog cigarette. Because I'm such a heavy smoker the cartridges last me about a day. Sometimes I might go through a cartridge and a Half throughout the day. it depends on whether I'm working or not. One cartridge is supposed to be equal to one pack of cigarettes.

I am glad you were able to get off the stink logs!! I too was able to quit using a cigalike, VUSE, but have moved into the vapeworld of mechs, regs and rebuildables. I still have not tried the Juul, and probably won't, but glad to hear it helps curb the smoking.

I am not recommending this Temp. Control device to you by any means, as it sounds like you are just starting your vape journey. When you get a chance, go to a vape shop and try out an ego battery, variable or no, with a tank and some good juice. Your world will change;) Vape on!

I bought a Juul last Saturday. I was a pack a day smoker since I quit Chewing snuff. As soon as I started using the Juul I put the cigarettes down completely. I havent turned back. The strong nicotine content was what I think did it for me, as I have tried many e-cigs in the past. The battery is very weak though. I now have two of them. The pods didn't last me very long either. I think that is because I have also been using it indoors.
