geez, nice for a newb, but i wish they weren't cheaper with a kit than just the mod itself lol. just saying; not goin to use the charger, the 2 batts even the drip shield....

Hum thanks i tried a button top and it fired once i screwed it on. Maybe it was too tight. Ill fiddle with it or try another thanks.
Got one today and I love it. It vapes really well for such a cheap mod but I'm gonna upgrade it later to make it perform much better. I just noticed that this is similar to the Sigelei telescope and they only differ in materials and aesthetics, since they both have telescopic bodies and their firing and locking function is the same.
If it is one of those gray Panasonics, the wrap doesn't extend over the edge of the bottom, which seems to cause this. Just flip the battery upside down and it should work fine, as well as shorten the throw a bit. It's still a good idea not to crank the telescope down super tight, to prevent this. I only use button topped batteries in mine, so you should be able to get it to work.
Yeah screwing the body on too tight will cause the K100 to autofire since the battery is just suspended on a spring. Screwing on too tight will make the bottom of the battery make contact with the negative pole. I had to make a plastic seat on the bottom of the mod to replace the spring and prevent any autofiring.
My favorite setup is an 18650, button top down, tightened up just right for a short throw. It still stands up on end without firing, and is pretty sweet for such an inexpensive mod.
I would really like to sand the contacts but I have a few questions, I really don't want to break anything. How do I get the plastic piece off of the spring to get to the switch contact? Any good suggestions on how to sand the bottom end of the upper contact? It's way up there in the telescoping tube. I really like this mod but I definitely notice the voltage drop compared to my Sig #8 with all sanded contacts. Thanks

I did read this post already and it is great, but I'm not sure if the plastic piece threads off or if you just yank it right off. Also I'm a little nervous knocking out a press fit piece. It seems there has to be an easier way to get some even sanding going up there in the tube.
