Make sure youre tightening the post on top of the coil...thats the only thing I can figure is causing it to leak onto your battery as I havent had this issue...
Mind linking to that please?
Just did the cotton ball rebuild on my brand new Protank and it works wonderfully. Took around 5 minutes and I have never taken an atomizer apart in my life. Thanks for the info!
If it works it works.
Another method I tried and liked was to just wrap a couple loops of thread around the air holes (just above the threads) and knot it. So small even with the tank off it's hard to see and works great, just add or subtract loops to adjust the air flow to taste.
I have tried de-wickin, re-wickin and even tried a evod head and it still has muted flavor compared to even cheep c4 cleros, back to my Boge cartos I go ...
Oh well it's a cool looking paperweight.
ETA: As long as we're posting "How I blocked the airflow" pictures

Similar to the bandaid, I use a large o ring on the bottom resting on the mod. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...on/418172-o-ring-fix-airy-kanger-protank.htmlBrilliant.
I didn't have any Hello Kitty band aids and just used a regular one.
Worked awesome.
I'm going to try the teflon tape when I get back from The City.
I had the same problem, all I did was cut a piece of plastic with a hole in the center. Place on the bottom of the tank before screwing on your device. Problem fixed.....BTW Taste is great, better then my viva nova
