I'll be getting one. Though the bcc doesn't give as warm a vapor I really like the lack of wicking issues which allows you to use pretty much any material you prefer without issue. I have three EVODs and I love them. The protank is the same exact head pretty much.
Really easy to rebuild the coil and rewick. The only time my EVODs leak is when the liquid gets low enough to expose one side of the wick to the open air inside the tank.
Making adjustments to the wick is easy even with a full tank. I found with the standard silica wick I had to add some flavor wicks with thinner liquids. (Johnson Creek) With Bobas the standard two 1 mm flavor wicks worked fine and you could even remove one if you liked. I now use cotton or hemp wicks which seem to do both types of liquids fine.
$18 for shipping is just too much. Tried to put together a$90 order and just couldn't justify spending that much after my "first 40 spending spree."

The BCCs don't give as warm a vape as the top-coils, but I wouldn't describe the vape as cool. I was a top-coil fan up until a couple of months ago; the bottom-coils give me a better tasting vape with my DIY peppermint than what I've gotten off of any top-coil design. This more than compensates me for the small loss in the warmth of the vapor.

I thought it was just me. I definitely feel like the taste is better than top- coils. Didn't want to say anything and be pounced on by the hardcore traditionalists being the new guy. The bcc definitely isn't as warm but, taste is definitely more important to me..

I know I said I'd wait till they were stateside, but I went ahead and pre-ordered a couple. LOL.

I'm a fan of metal drip tips anyway, so it doesn't bother me too much.

Where did you pre-order yours? I hope it's a typo, but Kanger's product page for the Protank lists the price at $56 USD!

EDIT: Nevermind. I see now that page is for the kit with two batteries.

I have found I prefer Kanger's clearos over the others. I really want to buy this but I want it to be in stainless steel not chrome over brass. As to the fixed mouthpiece, I like the aluminum one on the T2, though I'd prefer if it were steel ideally too. The tip alone makes, for me, an improvement over the T3's plastic only tip. Would really like to see a version of this, in steel, but also with T2-style heads as opposed to the T3 style heads here. Never get dry hits on T2s if you fluff your wicks up before use and as I've used them I've thought how nice it would be to have a tank with decent capacity, borosilicate, that I could drop these replaceable T2 heads into. That they're now selling direct to the consumer at what seems to be better than retail, though not quite wholesale pricing, is very very good news for me.
