I vape my BCC at about 9 watts and it does great with my 80/20 Huntsman, Dragons Fire, Diablo Cap. When I get below 8 sometimes I have trouble....

I know all too well not to question you on VW or VV. I was talking to AttyPops in that thread.

I know you were - but you know how felines often play with something long after it's dead.

Not sure if this was posted or not. But I am looking to get a protank for myself and browsed through alot of sites that offer the Kanger Protank. Of course they are all out of stock. But I did notice that a bunch of them posted updates that they will be restocked in a few weeks. The general consensus is that mid to late april is when they will be availible.

Got one. Holding off on really writing any opinions until I've had a little time.

I will say. Looks fantastic. Near perfect size. Thus far I like the mouthpiece which I'm surprised by because I didn't care for my t3s mouthpiece and it looks almost the same. I don't feel like getting up to actually compare. Maybe I've changed...

I don't know if saying there are "problems" with them is completely fair. According to Edward @Sun-Vapers (who worked with Kanger on the design) out of the initial 400, 9 customers reported problems with leaking where the glass attached to the metal top. He posted directions on the site of how to test for it and replaced the faulty ones.

The snarky comments I have posted about the Protank are due to it not working the way I was hoping it would - what I wanted it to do. It's a beautiful device, so don't take my remarks as an overall condemnation. You may not have the same requirements I do.

Well I think I've figured out the "airy" draw issue. It'll be tough to fix properly.
The issue isn't so much the air intakes. Plugging them may help but, they are identical in size to the EVOD intakes and that doesn't suffer the same issue. The three inlet holes and the hole in the center of the positive pin are exactly the same size.
It's the huge center tube in the body that Kanger left completely open. I'm not any kind of scientist but,I can tell you that is the problem and the cause of the airy draw. Perhaps a tight fitting tube placed in body would solve the problem. Or just any kind of restrictor that would be safe and easily cleaned.
Thus far I am disappointed. Was really hoping for a higher capacity, fancy looking tank with performance of the EVOD.
Tomorrow I figure out how what I can use to fix this..
