Then again this may sound like overkill 'less you're a tab vaper but some of you may be surprised.
Its not overkill at all once you've sat down and wasted your time rewicking then get a off or burnt taste from that rewicked coil. Same thing with orings..they have to be removed, cleaned and the groove cleaned also to ensure a good seal. If you can spin the glass then the seal has been compromised with juice getting behind so it could leak from loosing its vacuum. The driptip orings can get sloppy and loose fitting from juice softening them so they don't seem to snap into place onto the atty like they use to. Boil some water then toss the orings in and stir off the heat and let them sit for a while, air dry and they again snap back into place. Getting the driptip oring out can be a chore without damage but with the right tool(dental pick) they come out rather easy.
I'm not sure what "tab vaper" is either.
