I bought all my kayfun v2+ authentics used ... I do 7 wraps of 30ga on one of those little blue screwdrivers 1.7ohm

I use them with these cheap bellcaps :vapor:

How are you getting them to sit so flush? I have 3 autentics and they all leave a pretty sizeable gap on my P3 and Radius :(

Could someone tell me why I am getting dry hits whenever I fill up my tank more than 50% ? I am using a Kayfun Nano, wicked properly, so pretty sure that is not the cause. Channels are also clear. I see no bubbles coming out of the channels no matter how hard I draw - and I am on a tight draw to begin with. I do see bubbles coming out whenever I cover the air hole and draw. Could it be that I have too much vacuum in the tank whenever I go beyond 50% ?

Is your juice thick?

It's 80% vg with 4% distilled water to thin it down. But I don't get dry hits with the same juice in my other kayfuns.
Try to release the pressure by opening the top cap a bit and then reclosing. If a lot of bubbles come out and it floods or gets too saturated then yes you have a vacuum problem.

My juice is very thin, 85% PG, but I never could make a KF nano work properly -- always got the burnt taste. I finally gave up on it completely.

Is it recommended to fit a nickel build into the kayfun? If so, how many wraps of non contact nickel coil can fit in the deck?

28 AWG, 3mm ID, 8 or 9 wraps fits fine.
The Kayfun is not a very stable connection without tightening up the positive electrical path.
In addition to to snugging up the + block I had to add a tubular "washer" under the adjustable 510 screw. Then it worked very well.

And is this how the top part of my steam tuner should be?

Just wondering what could be causing the vacuum problem - something wrong with the center post for example? Anything else you can think of?

The snugging up part

Temperature control relies on measuring very small resistance changes that occur as the wire heats. The connections from the adjustable 510 screw to the center tube to the positive block in the atty are "loose" enough that the resistance can jump around. That cause TC to work erratically or not at all in some cases.

Have you ever completely disassembled you atty?
If not goggle is your friend.
Hope this helps.

Although i am not the one having the problem these types of answers drive me nuts lol.

What i gather from that answer and by the "scared shi_ _ _ _ " little blue man is that this is not a very good idea , i could be wrong though.
