Kayfun LITE - Part 2

I'd be worried that it might come apart. It looks like its held together by the orings only.

It is and I've seen all kinds of stories of them falling apart when accidentally picked up by the top cap or drip tip. I think PBusardo talked about the same thing in a review of a similar tank system.

We did. But then someone (not me, but someone who accuses me of trolling) started it again.


Not part of any argument around here, but since it is a topic, I own an original SM KFL+v2, an EHpro +v2, and a Tobeco. I haven't even built the Tob yet (too busy with newer Rose and Aqua), but the EHpro is a definite red hair better than the SM. (Also owned another very good cheaparooter that I gifted out.) Don't knock 'em till you've tried 'em.

That's just info for anyone looking to choose between options; nothing to do with ideology.

I don't care about clones, what bothers me is clones which not only use the trademark of the original but put the svoemesto name on it. You don't have to be a brain surgeon to know some of them will end up in the classified ads as being real. If you are going to buy a clone at least buy one without the original makers name on it.

We have no control with what's on these clones. Most of us just want the best made clone, Period... The only problem here is the few of you that have to cause problems with us. We are not selling these. We are just like you except we choose to spend a lot less money for a great tank.

I haven't noticed any big difference. I just pull the coil up a little to make sure it isn't touching and whatever gap I have is it.

I had to move it closer. It had barely any flavor at all. For me, the closer the coil to the air inlet, the better the flavor.

Heads-up guys! If this conversation of Clones/Counterfeits vs Originals does not stop cluttering this thread, I'll be forced to start handing out Infractions. This back and forth, with no side being entirely wrong has gone on long enough.

Hi everyone, I wonder when they will start carrying Kayfuns in 99cent Stores ... Has anyone tried this glass version? The glass has no threads - kept in place by O-rings. Is it likely to leak?

I have been using these on my v3.1's for about 5 months. No leaks and glass is in tight. Takes some effort to turn it. I am very happy with them. Have one extra in case I would break one of the original two that I use. Has not happened yet.

What would you all say if I told you that you could get a full on SvoëMesto Kayfun Lite + for almost the same price as a clone. I was looking at the link they provided on the V4 thread (steam e vape or something like that) and they have the Lite for €48.99. The euro in $0.88 to the dollar. That works out to $43 for an original Kayfun Lite +. Remember that if they are sending it to the US of A you don't pay the VAT. Not a bad deal. Just thought I would pass it on in case anyone is interested.

Thought about that after I sent the post. I cleaned up my two 3.1's a couple of days ago and have left them disassembled to dry. I just got done putting them back together loosely and packed them away. I have three Kayfun V4's that I will be using for awhile. Actually two in use and the third came today and will stay safely boxed up for now. All were Tobeco clones and have been working well so far.
