HB it looks like a perfect fit on the Provari P3. Are you using it with the P3 threads?

Well, I wish I COULD use it with P3 threads, but it's only a KFL+V2...so it has a 510 connection.
I got the tank at Cloud9 vaping...they are the best authorized dealer of authentic SvoëMesto products that I have found.
The tank is so smooth, and the transition from base-to-tank-to-cap is invisible to my finger tips...far more seamless than any of my EHPro versions.
In fact, the whole device is more refined than I was expecting!
I bought one of these for a friend, early after their release, but never got to spend much time with one...I'd only owned my EHPro versions until now. So to compare the two, is almost like night and day when it comes to craftsmanship.
I WANT to say that it has better airflow and flavor, but I was only able to vape it a few times before bed.
So today will tell! I'm sure I'll love this authentic version just as much as I have loved the EHPro version!
P.S. It was a little weird to not have TWO airflow holes, like the EHPro version, but that's why I said it might have better airflow...cuz it only has one hole, and seems to have just as much airflow...and if its ONE can do the same as TWO, then that makes it better...right?

The tank bulge had me thinking it was the K4. Looks sharp, how much does it hold?

Not sure!
I'm not really a liquid measuring guy...
But I guess I'd say it holds about as much as the nano kits do on my EHPro clone versions. Which I think is 2-3ml...?
Anybody got those nano kit specs for Kayfun Lite?

I know my Nano and Bell kits take around 3ml.

Yeah, the two air holes on the EHpro doesn't seem to provide any added value whatsoever. Seems to have the exact same airflow as the SM, limited by the center post.

And I have removed the airflow control grub screws, so I have four air holes! :D

The grub screws on my EHPros don't seem to serve any function, other than simply copying the original design...I haven't noticed a difference with them in or out...
Assuming there's enough uniformity amongst their production line, I'm confused as to why some people note better airflow with those screws out...but as far as my experience, I haven't found a preference.
However, I leave them IN, because I'm OCD about losing parts.

Today I changed out the wick and gave the Kayfun a bath. Isn't it better to just leave the plastic tank connected to the top SS sleeve then removing it and putting extra wear on the threads?

I heard about flooding and certainly had cartos flood and some tanks, but what would cause the Kayfun to flood? Thanks

I actually leave it on sometimes and take it off sometimes. Believe it or not it depends on how easy it comes off when my hands are slippery. If it comes right off than I take it off but, if it is too tight to get it off easily than leave it. I think it cleans as well either way. I mostly am just giving it a quick rinse while rewicking. If I am recoiling it get a little deeper cleaning.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

Ping, some people leave the three-section tank assembled. I disassemble them prior to cleaning...probably an OCD thing. One thing I do is toss the parts in hot water with a drop of Dawn just to cut the mineral oil I used when I assembled it. Again, more OCD probably. A Kayfun will flood if you prime it too much or the coil doesn't fire or other possibilities. You can unflood by turning the KFL upside down and lightly blow through the drip tip. Never been a problem for me though. Can't say I ever flooded a Kayfun. Perhaps a little gurgling from over priming but it burns off after a few puffs.

So did your second rewicking go well?

The second wicking went great. I did leave the top sleeve attached to the plastic tank, but did wash with dawn and warm water. So far no issues at all much easier than the thought. Very happy with the vape quality. My the tank holds a bunch of juice.

Excellent! You got the Midas touch. Make sure to check you have 1 - 2 mm clearance under your coil. Easy to forget.

Nah, 1/2 mm is OK as long as it doesn't touch. Now I haven't tried different heights so maybe there is something to airflow from the higher clearance. Is there?

1/2mm works fine too. Some thinks it makes a big difference. I don't. Little more vapor at 2mm. A little more flavor at 1 mm but I would fail at a taste test no matter where it was.

Any tolerance?

OOoo, err, ummm, not to speak of. Just within a half wavelength of excited deuterium fluoride gas. Uhh, maybe about, uh, 1900nm.

Oh... wait... NO... no tolerance for shorts at all. No shorts! Shorts are NOT tolerated!

Greetings everyone. I am a first time Kayfun user, and unlike many of you guys, I vape around 2.4 - 2.8 ohm. Built my very first device just now, and the throat hit and nic hit nearly knocked my socks off - even though I was vaping my usual 8mg at 2.4 ohm. Have any of you had to reduce your milligrams because of this RTA? I am using a nano kit and pre-made coils - NR-R-NR 33 gauge Nichrome wire with 1mm inside diameter (at 2.4 ohms as I mentioned). The wicks are Japanese cotton.

Here are the complete specs: https://www.fasttech.com/p/1591702

Could these coils be the source of my problems, or could it be the cotton wicks, which I am using for the first time. I am wicking properly except when I take consecutive drags with little time in between. I need to add that up until this point, I have been using those dinky cartomizers; so this is a big change for me. Thanks in advance for your suggestions and opinions.

Yeah...the first thing I noticed is that your preferred resistance is about double what most people (in this thread) vape at on a Kayfun.
But the second thing...the NR-R-NR coils...? I've never heard anyone using those on a Kayfun! I use them on my SOPHIA atomizers from ByLeo...but definitely not on my Kayfuns.
My first suggestion would be to try Kanthal wire, and try building the coils yourself. If you're not comfortable building them, you may be able to find a local vape shop that would build for you.
If all else fails, there are some pre-made Kanthal coils available from many vendors.
If you decide to find and buy some of those, try a lower resistance.
Do you mind if I ask what device you're using to power your Kayfun? And what voltage or wattage are you running it at?
