For all kayfun lite/provari users. Having the understanding that everything is subjective.
What is a recommended starting point/sweet spot build for the kayfun lite plus and the provari?
I currently build my Kayfun to 28ga, 1.5 on the mvp2, 3.9/4.0 volts, and have the air flow control screw set about half way for a tighter draw.
MKID...
I don't want to sound like a parent, scolding a child, but...I thought we already went over all of this?
I'll admit there is always the chance that I'm remembering a conversation with someone else...but, you having an MVP2 rings a few bells...
Anywho...
Apart from my very helpful fellow ECF'ers (thanks everybody!) I'd like to add my experience advice, to help further your pursuit of vaping greatness! Whereas none of us can give you the exact build that will suit your tastes, we can at least get you in the ballpark!
I use a 28g wire, wrapped 5 times around a 7/64" drill bit (aka 2.8mm), for a resistance of 1.3-1.5 ohms...which I then run at 10 watts on my P3.
I do this same build on both the KFL -and- the KF4.
I started using a 7 wrap, 3/32" (2.4mm) build in my KF4, but noticed poor performance. This is because the KF4 has far more stock airflow than the KFL...so I switched to the 5 wrap, 7/64" (2.8mm) and found great success!
I used to use 7 wraps on a 3/32" drill bit (2.4mm) in my KFL's, but have found the extra 0.4mm to make enough of a positive difference, that I adopted it across the board.
So, clearly, it's all subjective, but enough of us are close enough to each other in build, that we can't all be wrong! The best part is, because you're building your own coils, you have the freedom to play around with different builds, to zero in on your own personal sweet spot!
