One thing I did do today that turned out quite excellent, was to cut two grooves in the kayfun posts. No more wrapping the wire around the screw, just pull it tight half way around and the wire gets captured under the screw in the groove. These grooves should have been a factory implementation IMHO.

A few passes back and forth with a small triangle file and you are good to go. Also a good flush under running water to clean out the filings.

I noticed that in your prior post and thought what a clever Troll ;)

A fine job, well done. Glad to know you don't just troll around under the bridge waiting on unsuspecting passers by, but instead do useful things while you wait on your next victim. :)

Indeed!

Yet I was promptly informed that because I didn't have an Authentic, this is why the wires do not catch under the screws.
I would like to have an Authentic to see if a parallel 28g build would capture easily or not.

I just let that bridge victim slide by unnoticed, as any reply was destined to cause a foolish Clone vs Authentic discussion. :D

The fill screw in on of my Kayfuns has a leak, and it's too short to accept an O-ring. I was thinking of lightly coating the threads with clear nail polish, screwing it in wet and taking it out a minute later. Is this a good idea guys? I have already tested the nail polish to make sure it does not dissolve in juice.

Use a little piece of teflon tape instead. If you don't have any you can get it at any hardware store or home improvement joint. Also, try one of your spare screws (if you got any). Many times that solves the problem.

I can try it, but won't it flake off with time and get inside the juice?

"If you knew how much Teflon tape was in your plumbing, you wouldn't worry one bit about it! Hahahaha!!! There's some inside plumber's knowledge for ya!" - My drunk plumber friend, who can't wrap his mind around the fact that this isn't a text message I'm typing on my phone...
P.S. He co-owns a top notch multi-million dollar plumbing company, and the reason they're so successful is they DON'T cut corners...so I'd take his word for it...

For those who need a tool to modify their Kayfuns, this rotary tool from Harbor Freight comes in very handy. It comes with several diamond heads, some of which will fit into those small air holes. For $9.99 you can't go wrong. Nice tool to have around the house for light sanding, cutting sharpening and several other tasks. It might even work as a pin vise for wrapping tensioned coils.

So, I realize this is a Kayfun Lite thread.... but.... the owner of a vape shop I buy from strongly recommended the Kanger subtank to me for better flavor. Anybody here use one of those? Do you think the flavor is better than the KFL? If so, by a little or a lot? I'm in the groove with my KFL's using 10 wraps of 29 ga for 1.5 ohms and I drip using HH357's. The KFL is not too far off in flavor to what I consider the gold standard for flavor, the HH, but it is a little more nic tasting and has more TH than the atty. What say you?

Received my second Kayfun yesterday. This one is the Five Pawns Nano version. Vapes great and it arrived clean as a whistle.

Looks awesome. Do you see any difference in vapor density and/or quality of the vape between this one and the regular sized? I also heard you can only use the drip tip that comes with the tank.

I feel the vape is fuller and a bit warmer. The five pawns dip tip looks different but feels good while vaping. I'm very impressed with it so far.

Louis, taste is on the buds of the beholder. It's a different answer depending on who you ask. Only you can answer your question. Let's just say the two are in the same arena and you can decide which seat to sit in.

You must have one helluva palette, to notice a difference in vape quality between the two...
The only physical difference between these versions, would be MAYBE 1/8"-1/4" difference in chimney length...but other than that, it's the same animal.
The size of the tank does not affect the vape, when the chimney is the same length.
You may or may not be noticing a difference between the two, but it's more than likely in your head.
Not trying to be a buzzkill...but I just get a bit frenzied over the hype of the FP-KFL...cuz it's purely a cosmetic difference.

My nano is a warmer vape versus the full sized Kayfun. I noticed it right away. Shorter path from coilt to mouth.
