Kayfun LITE - Part 2

Hey guys,
I got my Turtle Ship mod clone yesterday from fasttech. (https://www.fasttech.com/product/1624700-turtle-ship-v1-style-mechanical-mod)
The mod is vaping quite nice, but I can't get it to close completely. It seems like the 510 connector pin on my KFL+V2 is too long. I am having the slightest gap between the atty and the mod. Because it looked horrible, I assembled the atty and the top cap of the mod first, then the tube of the mod, inserted the battery, and then screwed on the firing pin bottom cap of the mod. Now, the bottom cap of the mod and the battery tube has a slight gap and won't close completely.

I know a lot of people are having issues with the battery rattling in their Turtle Ship mods, but it seems like quite the opposite for me; I don't have enough room! Rather than this being a Turtle Ship issue, I think it won't close completely because of the Kayfun's long 510 pin. Looking for help, thank you!

Is there a shorter battery you can use? All my batteries by brand are different lengths. Maybe???

yup, looks like rick nailed it, That appears to be a button top, replace with a flat top and whallla. :)

That's definitely a flat top in the OP's pics...
But I know where you're coming from...back in my ZMAX days, I couldn't figure out WHY my new toy wouldn't work...but wouldn't ya know it? Button Top strikes again! So I stocked up I flat tops.
Hahahaha...then I switched to Provari, and I had to stock up on button tops!

Thanks and no matter how I squinted I couldn't tell for sure, the straps appeared slightly lifted but I admit my old eyes are failing!

I am thinking it was a mistake to cut my nic level so drastically when I started using kayfun - down to 2.5 mg from 8 mg. The result is I am unconsciously vaping more to compensate. I am now getting more pg and vg into my system - both of which are causing dehydration big time.

I never bought into that theory. Keep the same nic level you always used. It matters more on drippers, not these Kayfun Lites.

Buy some 12mg (or 15mg) of the same juice in the same quantity as you have remaining of the 2.5mg. Mix them together and you'll be close to the 8mg again. Wont waste your 2.5 that way. :)

To me it was a necessity. My vape at 8mg was too harsh with the kayfun. I will try going up again and see.

If you're good at math you can blend your 2.5 with some strong stuff and keep upping it till you like it. Just got to get your math right and document so you don't lose your way.

I do enjoy doing the math myself. That way I can double check my work. Never used online calculators for one thing because I don't know how to use them. Also don't know how reliable they are.
