My nano is a warmer vape versus the full sized kayfun. I noticed it right away. Shorter path from coilt to mouth.

Right, but if you installed a regular length chimney on the device, and slid a drip tip down over the part that stuck out of the cap, you'd get the same vape as a full sized tank.
The difference between the chimneys in the FP-KFL and the regular KFL is much less.

It's a function of the length of the chimney that is immersed in the liquid which acts like a radiator. I cannot speak for the 5P version. I don't have one but I think Ping got the nano version.

I feel the vape is fuller and a bit warmer. The five pawns dip tip looks different but feels good while vaping. I'm very impressed with it so far.

The only physical difference between these versions, would be MAYBE 1/8"-1/4" difference in chimney length...
You may or may not be noticing a difference between the two, but it's more than likely in your head.

I initially thought it was in my head too, until I did a blind test. Passed with flying colors. I am willing to take another one :)

Louis, taste is on the buds of the beholder. It's a different answer depending on who you ask. Only you can answer your question. Let's just say the two are in the same arena and you can decide which seat to sit in.

Thanks for the response, Bronze. What I figured. I'm pickled tink with my two SM KFL's and not looking to waste money on more gadgets. I think he likes the convenience of being able to use the OCC's when in a hurry but I find the coils last forever in my KF and rewicking takes a couple minutes at most so nothing to see here.

You see it the same way as me. :)

I suspect you will not see any improvements going with the prebuilds. If $$ is tight then I'm pretty sure your KF's will more than suffice.

This is certainly a nano version as it holds 2.5 ML of juice. It's 10mm smaller then the KFL.

Methinks there be only one 5P-KFL...
...ya-harrrrr... :pirate speak:

The top hat on the chimney goes directly into the FP KFL drip tip, The KLF drip tip will fit into the FP KFL and visa versa, but my other 510 drip tips won't fit the FP versions. My brain registers a warner vape on the FP, and that is all I can go by.

Yes, there IS a nano version...but not a nano 5P version. There is only one 5P KFL. And by my recollection, it is the same size as the nano KFL, because it uses a nano M-tank.

The "top hat", aka the chimney, on the 5P KFL is less than 1/8"-1/4" shorter than the standard "top hat"/chimney of a regular KFL, is its even shorter at all. You may indeed be registering a warmer vape, but to my mechanical mind, there is no reason for that warmer vape, as the deck, and "vapor chamber" are the same size. The only difference may be a 1/8"-1/4" shorter "top hat"/chimney.

I'm not trying to argue here. I'm just stating what I've owned and measured.

Aren't we agreeing?

I don't even know anymore...we are all such strong personalities.

What I do know is:
Five Pawns Kayfun Lite comes in one version.
It's the same size as a Kayfun Lite in nano mode.
It has a unique top cap/drip tip combo.
Its chimney/"top hat" may or may not be slightly shorter than the standard Kayfun Lite chimney/"top hat" length.
Other than that, there is no discernible difference between the two. The performance was not intentionally altered, calibrated, or "designed" to be better than a standard Kayfun Lite.
I can assemble a Five Pawns Kayfun Lite from the pieces I have in my collection, minus the FP top cap/drip tip. Here it is:

Again, other than the top cap/drip tip, and a possible minuscule difference in length between chimneys/top hats, this is the same thing.
I was just trying to help take the "mystery" out of the Five Pawns version, as it seemed to have taken up a mythical aura in the last few weeks...

Indeed! Yet I was promptly informed that because I didn't have an Authentic, this is why the wires do not catch under the screws. I would like to have an Authentic to see if a parallel 28g build would capture easily or not. I just let that bridge victim slide by unnoticed, as any reply was destined to cause a foolish Clone vs Authentic discussion. :D
Yup those pesky clone screws are coated with wire repellent by those dastardly Chinese ! :) A little trick I use is to buy these screws and the matching hex nuts and use the nuts as a washer , it gives you a lot more surface area to catch the wire , these are the correct size for the Kayfun . Even a minuscule difference reduces the total volume of the chamber a lot when you multiply area x height. Some Nanos even have both a shorter chimney and a shorter chimney cap. I have both versions - a 5P, and a nano with both shortened chimney and cap. The latter one has a noticeably denser/warmer vape. But even the 5P and its minuscule difference gives a more dense vape than a standard size.

No mystery it's just a smaller size than the KFL. Well your version doesn't have the top cap and drip tip. Why are we not agreeing? Is nano a proprietary name?
