out of all the many kayfuns real and clone... i feel like you've never experience the real whistle. How is that possible lol.
But im kinda dumbfounded how the blackedition with a 2mm airhole still whistles. I drilled my authentic kayfun to 2mm and that pretty much fixed any whistle other then air being pulled in.
Oh oh I think you misunderstood me. I meant none of my BE whistles.
My first tobeco, ALL my hcigar and 1 of my ehpro whistles. The missus used to tease me and said I was calling out to my imaginary puppy

I can also confirm that none of my BE's whistle and I have about 10 of them in current rotation.
Every single other KFL clone I have/had with the exception of one Ehpro whistles.

It's a simple fix, the sharp edge on the airhole needs a bevel...I don't know why the manufacture or the person requesting "specs" can't figure this out.
Look at a whistle, grind the sharp edge off the air inlet and see if it still functions.

I finally decided to get a black edition v2 and have an issue. Both screws seem to be very rounded and when I screw down the wire, the wire continues to slip out the sides. I can really pull the wire tight against the screw and as I tighten down, the wire loop comes out. I am not very good at describing issues but didn't know if you guys have had this issue and a possible fix! I had purchased one previously from the same guy, privatedeals, and it worked flawlessly but this v2 I received is nice but can't screw down my coil!! Thanks for any suggestions or maybe where I can get some replacement screws!

You should have gotten a set of replacement screws with the first black edition you bought. Use those. I'm pretty certain fatdaddyvapes, the guy who sells all the switch magnets, had a set of screws you could buy. Not sure if he still has them.

Now that someone mentioned smth about the screws... Damnit you're right. I was wondering why I was always so bad at capturing the wires. Damned screws are round at the bottom!

Its the same for the R91 and im pretty sure most clones. The authentic KFL+ screws are wider to better catch.
Anyways, I sold my extra authentic KFL+ V2. Regretting it now and may just pick up a BE to hold it down til intaste/vaperev goes back instock. The only deal breaker for me atm is that it seems like a few of you are having trouble using some nano kits. I plan on nanoing all my Kayfuns so that sucks.

For weeks I've been wondering why I would get random spells of WHY-WONT-YOU-CATCH-UNDER-THE-SCREWS.

hey inotfat, can you compare the finish of the BE v2 clone to the authentic V2? Im thinking they use different grade of steel but was wondering if the finish was almost the same.
Also, the prices dropped to $44.99 and $37.99 for pre-orders on that custom mod creations. Any reason to why?

Finish wise I would say it's identical. Also check this out: I dropped my BE and got the top cap cross threaded with my m tank. Use a plier (with jagged teeth) without any cloth to twist it open and all that's left is this:
Not a deep scratch at all and not too noticeable from a distance. I was actually very very pleasantly surprised because I've done it with one of my tobeco clones and I pretty much scraped off metal burrings off the top cap.
As for the price drop, no clue buddy. I'm a huge fan boy of artemus, but I have yet to gain access to his secret lair
But like I've mentioned before, I do think that market is reaching saturation. I mean, he's sold more than a thousand of these suckers. The fact that he's now doing pre-orders seems to support that; I think he realizes it and he doesn't wanna get caught with his pants down and hoarding a whole lot of stocks with his capital locked in.
In any case at that price with a free m tank (which is flush with the top cap and base), I really can't see any reasons to buy the other clones.

As far as the price drop. He's no longer paying eBay anything for each item he sells. With the pre-order ability he no longer needs to make as much per sale of existing stock to help pay for the next order, the pre-order cash most likely goes a long way towards that.
