I was talking about the Black Russian, which is made by JStream, not Tobeco, and is actually black in color.
The Black Edition is still the only clone I use and I mentioned that in my last post.

I'm getting decent performance after a little less than 24 hours with the navy nest set up. Very good vapor production, good flavor with subtle floral hints here and there, and rough dry hits maybe every 10 puffs. I'll try to ever so slightly flood the atty to where I get a bit of gurgle and vape my way through it. Gives me the best flavor that way.
But I seriously hate the 510 connection. The threads are tiny and I'm babying the crap out of it because it feels like it wants to snap off if I don't.
Edit: when I say "decent", I mean better than my clearos. I know this thing shouldn't give dry hits, but I'm thinking my inexperience is a factor here.

I've bought Kayfun clone 3.1, lite plus, and black editions from multiple sellers and haven't had one rusted part. You definitely have to be careful where you purchase from, that applies to most everything. Especially something your heating up and inhaling through!
Everyone has a different learning curve.
I think it's great that you are sticking with it. The better you get with your builds, the more satisfying your Kayfun will be.

I've had my Artemus KFL+ for a while now and while I can't get it to perform the way I'd like it to yet with my ADV liquid I haven't seen any rusting anywhere. The Black Russian 91% clone that I just bought from J-Stream is a piece of crap though... I'm trying to get a refund through the eBay money back guarantee because their policy is no refunds. If you buy from anyone on eBay please check the refund and exchange policy before you click the purchase button... I forgot to with the Russian and now I have a big hassle on my hands.
No rusting on my 2 BE KFL+s from Artemus or my authentic R91 in use for over a month 
Just to clarify once again the 15+ Black Editions I have do not rust. I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea.

So how long are you guys waiting on kayfuns from Artemus? I ordered on the 16th, never got an invoice so I emailed him 2 days ago to see when it was going to ship and nothing, haven't heard from the guy. Worst business man ever... I'm gonna wait a few more days and get my money back from paypal.
Ah weird.... He's usually on the ball when it comes to that. Shakes head.

The longest it's taken him to ship out my orders is two or three days tops.

Damned thing is SO close to the authentic. Weighs the same (using my hands of course; no scale here) the authentic is a little thicker in terms of the construction, the o ring on the authentic isn't as stiff (the clone is almost impossible to remove the chamber cap). But apart from that, damned thing is almost identical and vapes the same. I'm gonna sell off my authentic one to a buddy

I bought mine from his listing on eBay and it took about a week but he's local for me. When he sells on eBay he does really well following the rules, on the website better use Paypal like you did just in case he feels like taking his time.
I had a few communications with him on eBay and the guy is a piece of work lol...
Got my laptopscrews.com package today and immediately torched one. OMG, it turned brown like cookie dough and powdery. Sent a dispute through Paypal right away. Those guys are dangerous for vapers...
What mg juices do you guys use on your KFL+'s. My ADV is straight menthol 18mg in my carto tanks (sitting unused for a while) and PT2's but the vape is way too intense to enjoy in my BE. I tried cutting it 50% with 0mg (same liquid) but it's still too strong. I'm thinking I may have to order some 3mg now...
I've been on 12mg for a long time. Tried 6mg and the complete lack of throat hit was a deal breaker for me.
But ever since I've gotten into twisted wires, I've had to tone down. Currently stuck in an awkward phase between 12mg and 6mg
