The sound of air flowing into the device is normal, its a whistle that drive most people mad.

True that. And if you consider that it's the ONLY thing that's helping to provide the air that youre sucking through the atty, it's expected a significant volume of air goes through it. I personally love the sound of it.

The whistle though. Makes me cringe everytime I'm using my other clones.

Just tried to snap a picture of the nice milled out edges of the air hole to no avail. I'm incredibly pleased with the new black edition. I no longer sound like I'm using a dog whistle trying to call out to my herd of dogs

That said, does anyone know where I can get spare insulator for the center post? I'm referring to the cylindrical on that sits inside the atty base and around the centre post. Damned thing that came with this was a beetch to get out and plain impossible to get in

Use a paper clip or thin screwdriver as a drop guide. Turn the center pin slightly tighter or looser to align the Center pin air hole and the air channel Should reduce/stop noise.

That driptip!!! Is it one of those ridiculously expensive ones? If not, where did you get it from? I'm a HUGE sucker for stubby flat topped drip tips

The center tube that the contact pin screws into?
I'd also like to know. My Tobeco V2 came with a stripped pin/tube combo.
The threads are useless on both.
He sent me a return label to print but I'd like to just replace the combo.

Check out Ghost Modder, the VA Chaplin, and the tip that comes with the Stingray mod. All are amazing!

On the topic of drip tips does anyone know where I can find a stubby wide bore copper tip or a tip with a copper sleeve. Trying to match the red copper Stingray.

Twiddle thumbs. I'm the CHEAPEST fella when it comes to drip tips. I just can't bring myself to fork out 20bucks for a drip tip hahah.

And those damned ghost modder drip tips are EXACTLY what I was looking for. Short stubby flat top drip tips just look so damned good on the kayfuns

$2 and Change at Fasttech. They actually have a few nice short Tips for cheap - even a Chaplen SS & Brass set.

HA! So I got back home, and just kept twisting the m tank on and off and on and off until enough plastic got scraped off and now it fits. That wasn't fun.

In any case someone was asking if people filled from the top of bottom and I thought this is interesting to show.

If I fill it up from the top it looks nice and full

Yes, I've received two of the Black Russian Ed and am unfortunately going to be returning both.

Both came covered in sand and oil, have two different sized airholes and post screws that almost have no head on them. Smaller juice channels too.

There are better screws in the parts bag so I went to try and make the one with the proper size airhole work and found a stripped positive post.

It is hard to tell if the fit and finish is good because of all the sand.

Overall I'm disappointed.
