I can't get on VaporWall and I'm sure that's a good thing. I will stay the kayfun Lite was really a turning point for me...didn't realize how frustrated I was working with mesh wicks and wire until I owned my first KFL.
When I got my kayfun the first thing I asked was, "Why the hell am I messing around with this worthless Genny"?

The GUS mod is sooo under rated....

Bought this when i sold my Caravela.... In all honesty, i like it better.
I don't have the LORD like Qorax, but aside from cosmetics, it's the same thing.

Qorax, you going to keep that fuse in the 510 connector?

the centre pin of the Caravela makes a quick and easy substitute.... just sayin... ;)

You both had me excited about the Gus, but now I find out I'm going to have to buy a Caravela so that I can remove the centre pin from it to replace the fuse in the Gus?! :p

any M5 screw would do.... lol

most people wouldn't need to remove it. Comes with a 5 amp fuse installed.
If i remember right a 10A & 15A option is around. For those of us wishing to run hot warm setups. hehe

But since this is a Kayfun Thread... content is required... (3.1 clone :( )
So here is a purdy picture of the two.

Hi Buzz, the fuse is a keeper ~ a smarter design and a wiser way to vape. If it pops, the package has one more, besides they are also available at our local Home Depot√

It comes in various amps upto 12A ~ which is good for sub-Ohming till 0.3Ω. So why bother. Furthermore, our Paps Tele-pins work as well, so does the Nemesis'.

Edit:
1. Oops, this has already been correctly discussed in later posts above.
2. Not to forget, the LORD upgrades the older Gus with an AFC top-cap, and a very smart one at that.

First off, vapdivrr, I did not see that coming from a mile away. I would've lost very very much a lot of money if I would have made a bet with a spread on that game.

As for the gauge of wire, the only time I noticed a flavor difference was when I wrapped a micro coil with 30 gauge and one with 28 gauge. Both were the same number of wraps, same diameter, and vaped at the same wattage. I gotta say the 28 gauge produced much more flavor and vapor. I can't explain why, but it did (for me).

hey buddy in my previous post I was more talking about different coil designs not wire gauge. along with my latest coil configuration (going from macro to nano and back to macro in the same coil) there are a lot of other different types of coils in which there are small differences to a standard micro. some may feel the difference while others may not.

Interesting, always thought that was just an optional cap.
hmmmmm.

i may go back to fuse design... but the brass is just soo shinny, one mustn't get it tarnished.

Is that supposed to be a fat joke? I'm reporting you to a moderator.......... Oh wait.

any brass Patina reminds me of the Caravela, and I break into tears... So i avoid it at all costs.

True reason is that the whole fuse assembly is a few mm longer than the longest M5 screw i currently own. so i actually need it to run my 18350's.
Or i run the SS M5 screws that i have yet to cut down, but the vape gods that be will cry about voltage drop.... So Fused assembly it is just out of lazyness...
