Well, a mech is well suited for subohming which I find I don't care for...too warm for my tastes. With the introduction of the dna it has really stepped up the quality of subohming. Just not for me. I vape way too cool for that.
I don't like anything about the mechs I got one cause it was a smoking deal and wanted to see what I've been missing- nothing I've been missing nothing.
-in my opinion of course

I'll give mechs that they are gorgeous! But I would rather am old best up truck that can toe a house and rock crawl than a really pretty show truck that runs bad. I don't have much gear I got off re egos in feb. And my girl stole my MVP as her first step off smokes.

And this mech is gorgeous. I love boats and it's a Caravela; I got a great deal on it and couldn't pass it up. Well the provari had to go to Provape and someone is letting me borrow their reg but I won't have it till Friday so this is it for now. I got the thing because I couldn't pass up a mech and patriot for 15 bucks and it'll let me taste my DIY juice quickly and easily. I finally put a Vtc4 in it and the damn thing turns into a firestcick button gets red hot, the top and tube gets way hot. So guess who will be at the vale shop as soon as they open tomorrow. Glad I got the whole package from one place.

Well, when the big one drops on us, the only things that will remain are cockroaches and mechs. So there is something to be said about them. :)

When the big one drops it won't matter anyway

That's what I was trying to say to Diver with his electromagnetic pulse attack. :)

If the big one drops on us in my lifetime, I'm gonna look in the sky and try to stand where I think it's gonna land. I don't want to be around for the carnage. :)

And on to other topics....

And the nicest thing about the kayfun lite one you learn how to use it is, you can appreciate your own obsolescence. Its jolly cracker time.

Oh, and dude with the Kayfun V2 that was getting a chalk taste from vaping,,,,, Leave the tank overnight to let the wick break in with juice in the tank, I did that and then had no chalk taste, this was on my EH Pro, pretty good vape as Kayfuns go. I have had no luck top filling these tho, its like they get the measles when you try. Also probably better off with about a 2 mm wind and less wick if your higher than that by much, since that is the wick i let soak, that is the one i recommend. These V2's are the first Kayfuns I have found that are a tad fussy. Of course there are lots of fussy RBA's out there and time is money. But the vape quality is excellent on the V2 (if you let the wick break in.) You kind of have to be patient with it, like with an obstinate person. Also the vape quality is more on par IMO with the Kayfun 3.1 which I love, and less with the lite plus which is a slighly stronger harsher vape. <<< Which I love too.

I too have found that the lite + is harsher and easier to flood if toop filled. and for the life of me I cant' figure out why! The only real difference I can find is that the top cap of the chimney is not coned inside like most of the others.

This may or may not be the reason for the harsher hit. But why the difference in top fill flooding, I'll be darned if I know!

It's like anything else, you have to get used to them, have a decent mod, and know how to set them up. I own a few mech but none are clones. I can set one up with my usual .4 ohm set up and no heat what so ever. I know everyone is different, some hate vv devices, some hate mechs, while some like both. I do however feel that a mech is the long lasting work horse because there is nothing that can go wrong with them, so imo their the house movers. what happened to your provari? like I said I love all types but tbh, if I could only keep one, it would be my v2 polished provari. what would be the absolute ultimate would be a provari dna 30 that can handle resistances to let's say .4ohms. This would be sweet

Ehhh not gonna say how; but let's say it still works which is amazing unto itself. Lol
But the screen cover broke and it's under warranty. So I'm going to take advantage rather than fix it myself. Let the swap it out.
I considered fixing it on my own. Like I said though. I'll let then do it while the warranty is still good. She shouldn't have survived at all though. Proved to me why I need to get another one. Damn things really are invincible like everyone says.

You ain't kidding. Some have thought the provaris are over rated and over priced but after owning one for almost 3 years, I must say they are the very best vv devices out there period.

And I believe Q has mentioned he has nichrome wire in his gear supplies. Don't ask me why I would remember that. I can't remember what I had for dinner three hours ago.

And LOL (on me!) :)

How can you guys be wrong! It indeed was/is Nichrome. I had totally forgotten that I had bought some from InTaste as they didn't have 28g Kanthal that time.

ScreenShot Nichrome.jpg

So, made of Nichrome but is rocking on 21W! As always, thank you folks ~ and thanks my K'funs, to keep me vaping happily since they happened to me in 2012!

I have a very, very slight leak coming out of the airhole on my kfl+v2. just a tiny droplet or smear of liquid.

what would be the cause? too much cotton?
Could be a variety of causes. One could be a pressure issue caused by a bad seal. a bad seal can be missing, worn, or improperly positioned orings. Also it could be cross threaded plastic tank or cracked tank. If the device is ok then it could be things like, to low of a coil, to thick of a wick, to long of wick, wick blocking channels. Also not enough power to coils causing coils to not vaporizer all juice . Also temperature changes can cause this as well. I'm sure there are even more but can't think of any right now. sorry there is not a specific answer I can give you because it really can be alot of reasons. good luck

I have some nichrome lurking in my bone box too. I should fish it out of there and put it some place where I'll never run across it. Like then laundry room. :)

I don't say it too often outside of threads where people have bought one; but, my first vape on it was like listening to Neal Pert do a drum solo for the first time.
I hadn't tried one before I bought it, I would never do that; the only reason I did was I knew I wouldn't lose any money on it. Since I've had it I've tried several devices - Hana-Hans mini- mechs- you name it. I've become good friends with a few vape shop owners here now; so I do get the advantage of a test drive here an there. To me, I don't care what anyone says, for the way I vape- it is the BEST thing out there. The fact that it still worked after I did what I did to it - just proves it's value.

Looking for all the o-rings and tiny washers for air hole and fill hole screws. FatDaddys Ebay offering is not for the EHPRO KFL+ clone which I have. It also does not include the tiny washers for the fill hole and airhole screw.

Any links as to where I can grab these much needed parts. I am off the Loews to check there.

Thank you,

It just has to do with vacuum pressure. You simply cannot get the proper vacuum within the chamber by threading the top cap, turning it upside down, finishing the threading of the top cap all with your finger over the airhole(s) while jumping up and down and patting the top of your head and rubbing your belly.

The best way to achieve the solid solid vacuum pressure is to seal it 100% tight and syringe it through the fill hole. Jumping up and down patting your head and rubbing your belly at the same time is also helps.
