This or try rethreading the plastic center section. I read it can bump off the threading causing an airleak. I'd bet it's the o-ring on the chimney as dwcraig1 posted though.
Not that I know of and I've been looking online for a couple of weeks. I've only found ones that press fit with o-rings.
I was thinking about trying one of these. About as close as you can get.

I've noticed that tends to happen to my m-tanks at times. I never paid much attention;but, I soak and scrub mine clean once a week with water and baking soda.

The ones I saw in the link were not threaded glass- it was the "quartz" kit. At least that's what I saw. I tried them on three different occasion- 3 kits and they all fell apart on there first full up. I even tried using debates floss to push tr oring out more and that worked-for 5 minutes.
If I found threaded glass and the price was reasonable I would give it a shot.

Seems to me, the problem is that push to fit glass/quartz with o-rings does not work.
I have 3 glass kits, o-rings have held solid for over 6 months. 2 SOV kits, reg/nano & a Tarsius reg kit. O-rings have been holding my Genny tanks fine prior to the kayfuns.

All my other glass has held up great. The ruZgar, genies, aeros. But every time I try with a kfl it turns into a bloody nightmare.

Hey guys, just got a kayfun and I'm having issues with wicking. Is there a way to test it out without risking more tanks of juice? Getting a super tight draw with both standard and chimney micro builds, and little vapor and/or flooding, thinking it's the wicking anyway. Help please?
Dumb question but you do have the airflow all the way open?
And is it an authentic or clone? If clone which version?
Sometimes it's the simplest solutions that get us. Glad to hear you figured it out.
No worries- we've all had that excitement of a new toy feeling- hell I still get it on vapemail delivery day.
Just hope you gave her a good bath before you got it hooked up and started using her. That's one clone i don't know anything about.
