But if you're going for warmth and throat hit, then considering that you're using a mech, why not drop the resistance to somewhere around 0.8 or 0.9 ohms?

Lol- the mvp is the most sentimental to me. That one got me off cigs altogether. Not to mention down here thats high class vaping Lmao!

Nothing really against the mod itself but paired with such a big atty looks kind of funny. Not quite as bad as an ego/ kayfun but hey, if it vapes, that's all that really matters.

Hey guys I need your help. I am having some taste troubles with my KFL+ lately... After setting it up, I am having an awesome vape for about 15-20 minutes, then the taste fades dramatically. I dont get burn hits, the wicking is really good... The problem is when it stars wicking on its own after the first puffs.
Someone told me that the cotton is too tight on the coil. I tried to let the cotton pass freely inside the coil but it didn't help. What am I doing wrong?
I use a standard microcoil, 32 gauge around 1.4 ohm on my evic supreme at 12 watts.

I would try going to 28g or 39g and using a wider coil. I use 2mm but you may want to try 1.4mm-1.6mm coil, this will let you use more cotton and give you more heating surface. From my experience the kfl likes to be wrapped around 1.4-1.6 ohm. Also it helps to cover the airhole and blow into the kfl, i find it helps get the pressure inside the tank start the wicking process a little quicker.

I'm using a 2mm screwdriver (the blue one that came with an atty, I will try 2,5mm to fit more cotton... I do the "blow" thingy and it helps but I have to do it every 5 mins. Thanks though!

Are you putting cotton directly over the.juice channel of slightly offset.
I wouldn't go to much bigger than 2mm. When your wick us that wide you wanna trim the ends a but and just let it touch the deck neer the channel so that it wint choke off the flow

How can I make my EHpro KFL+ V2 hit harder? I have to take like 10 second pulls in order to get the hit that I want.

It's 1.3 ohms micro coil. I'm using a mech mod brass GP PAPS with a VTC5.

Edit: nvm I got it! I just have to suck it harder, damn I cough on every exhale lol [emoji10][emoji189]

Anyone else get a little leaking from the seam between the top of the tank and the drip tip. It's on tight and flush, can't see any defects but still...the side of the tank gets a little juicy when I set it down....
Any tips?

Hmm is the o ring on there? That could be a cause... maybe replace it if there isn't.

That's the issue I've been struggling with since buying. First don't pinch the coil when red hot to make a micro coil leave some gaps. Next build with the bottom half of the chimney on, use some tweezers to spread out the cotton to clear the fluid channels. Another thing that seems to be helping is a very light amount of cotton placed around the coil from the top. For me it is very difficult problem to overcome and still run into it on occasion. The other issue is not having hot spots in the coil, without using the micro coil technique this can be an issue, I ordered a jig to help with this.

Could the leaking you're seeing actually be condensation instead? The standard Kayfun drip tip reduces airflow which makes it easier for condensation to form. If you keep your mod upright this will trickle down and collect in the cup that holds the tip and can seem like a leak when its just condensation.

I am vaping this build as we speak, the only difference is I'm using twisted 32g. I'm able to get the .9 range with 9 wraps. I have tried single 28 and 29 but found it a little slow even with a mech, so by using the twisted 32 I'm able to get a much quicker vape. Either way it is a nice set up

Jusy ordered an orchid... the latest supposed "kayfun killer" it looks cool, the mods to the build deck are similar to the mods i would try, not sure if im a total fan of being forced to run dual coil, but what the hell, im bored.

with that mod and that set up you should be getting a pretty fast vape. Have you tried that same kayfun in a vv device to compare? I'm asking because maybe your getting some voltage loss? If you are not getting alot of voltage loss then have you tried twisted 32g? I find I am able to achieve the same resistance and wick coverage without the lag time.
