It is not just "cool, and fancy" an original piece is a work of art, that is why we buy authentic,or at least for me.

To each their own, but I don't buy an atty, or "work of art" to sit in the vape station and look nice - I buy it because it works well. I agree it's a work of art, but it's supposed to be a functional work of art. I've always purchased the original of devices/atty's that I like, which separates people like me from those who only buy clones. Just like the world's oldest profession, downloading music before buying the album, or any other hot topic, there will always be differing opinions - it's a debate that will never come to an end. It's a waste of time to argue about it from either standpoint, but always interesting to discuss people's opinions.

... And rayon is a superior wicking material to Japanese cotton. Wicks better, more forgiving, lasts longer, easier install.

Do you, by any chance, work at a used rayon dealership?
(You forgot to mention the pesticides used on cotton plants and the highly pollutant solvents used to produce rayon.)

I'm not impressed by what I'm seeing in the v4 promo material. I like the look of simplicity of the KFL. Just imo.

Absolutely stunning! Looks like Svoemesto is doing a better job with PR too. I'm an "authenticist." I don't have a ton of gear but what I do have is authentic. I don't have an opinion about clones as I don't have any. (Oops, almost lied. I do have a Kayfun mini clone. Found it impossible to get a used one after Svoemesto stopped making them. Now, I know why they did...hahaha).

Im betting that folks who have wanted to try an authentic will be able to do so by visiting the classies soon. Not sure I could let go of my 2 though...

Thanks for posting the unveiling

I have two of them - and absolutely love it!

I agree,i do not buy an original"work of art" to sit in my vape station either and hopefully it is completely functional. This is the chance we take when buying these high end devices that they are fully functional and QC is 100%.So far I have been lucky with all of the gear I have purchased(original's)and they work extremely well as they should.on the other hand,i have purchased a couple of clones of my original RDA's,and the clones turned out to be junk.Yes I have only wasted the $20 it cost but,the high end device was fully functional when I received it.Yes again,to each his own I am not trying to tell anyone they have to buy all original vape gear but that is how I vape and support the original makers.I know a lot of friends who buy nothing but clones, and that is how they vape.As long as you are off the analogs I do not know why the vape community still insists on keeping up this debate,it is just simply how different everyone is and how they vape.:toast:

The problem with authentic mods in general is that they are in very limited supply. When I wanted a Kayfun I tried to get one for 3 months no luck, ended up getting a russian

I wound up getting 2 R91's myself but finally got lucky and was able to pick up a KFL+.

Well done Q. In retrospect, I should have said that the size of the Mini was wonky for me and the 14500 mech mod I had it on. Way too long for my taste on that particular mod and kind of silly looking (to me) on a Provari. The actual atty worked fine. (almost said, "nearly as good as the regular size" but I think that was my bias re the size talking....

While on clones - this post might interest you folks:

Some important conversations...

[–]blasphemics, 8 hours ago says:
Jesus Christ. They seem to have gone with a modular design, which is sort of reminiscent of the new Aqua 2. Interested to see how the thing works. On a personal note I'm not sure I'm happy they're calling it a Kayfun. It seems so much different. Moreover it looks like a complete revamp. I understand they want to cash in on the popularity of the Kayfun name, but this is not going to be just an upgrade. It is clearly a more complex design and I would guess it caters to a different, more educated market. Time will tell.

[–]Auxx, 8 hours ago replied:
Eugene told that they wanted to satisfy existing users and did not implement revolutionary solutions, they wanted to fix existing issues and implement most frequently asked features.

[–]nksmith86, 4 hours ago says:
This is going to get cloned so freakin fast :/

[–]Auxx, 4 hours ago replied:
Well, the guys from SMTec are fine with clones without logos, they can't supply as much devices as people need, even though they increase production almost every month. Just too many vapers out there :) Some Russian guys at ecigtalk are already worried that they might miss the first batch. And unlike some small manufacturers, SMTec makes Kayfuns on a pretty large scale.

Just gonna throw it out there:

Now I have absolutely nothing against clones for most parts. Before my house got broken into, I had 5 authentic kfl/kfl+, 4 r91, and close to 20 clones.

A lot of vapers today out there think that the kayfun clones are just as good as the authentic. But this wasn't the case. The kayfun is almost certainly the single most cloned atty out there today. I have no doubt about that.

Now. Before the infinite and later ehpro clones came out, there were the tobeco and the ehpros and HCigar's. And those clones (and every single one for 4 to 5 months when it first stRted) were absolute trash. Awful threads. Most had vacuum issues. The juice channels were so bad it was impossible to vape on even when wicked right.

If most of yall had gotten a clone first back then, you would have never ever ever continued using a kayfun or buy an authentic.

Unfortunately, a clone isn't always the best way to gauge an authentic product. That argument might hold water 4 + months after release, but certainly not for a while yet.

Ps look at the squape reloaded clone. Those have been nightmares one after another

I don't know anyone who had to wait three months for a genuine (until you). Maybe a week or two. But, it did require you check in daily to look at their latest stock situation. That alone is more effort than some want to expend and I understand that.

True. All the three (InTaste, VR and C9V) had been stocking the 3.1ES and KFLs pretty frequently, at least once a month if not twice.
