This caught my eye the other day researching KF vertical coil builds.

Extension Screws for Kayfun Style Atomizer Set of Two | eBay

This would help eliminate the long leg issue on a vertical mount and make wicking easier. My question is would this in anyway effect how responsive the coil acts? It seems it would feel similar to building some genesis atomizers.

Does anyone know where I can get hardware to make this? I might make a purchase on this listing, it seems like a great idea.

No no!!! It hasn't even been whispered yet...just speculation...
I'm gonna guess that with the original being $100, this new one will probably be around $150-$200...which is just sad to me...cuz that's a big punch in the wallet.
But...you never know...the industry has seen a big increase in the number of authentic mods and atomizers at very affordable prices...

The original KFL was $100. The original 3.1 (which is really what this is replacing), was in the $170 range. That being said, I don't see a Lite version of this coming out since everything is pretty much bundled in the one product. Will that limit their sales, perhaps yes, but I'm sure that is partially going to be the reason they will be priced higher.

All this talk about the P4 I've always been a Provari guy, they have a quality you can just feel in the smooth power delivery. But I've found these Vamo V6 35watt mods on fast tech. They are lightweight and really pack a punch. And for $35 I doubt I buy another provari. Just something to look into as a mat for a new KF and dripper.

You are correct on pricing.

I can also offer that there were rumors of three new toppers coming. I expect a full size, a mini, and a lite. Clearance pricing on the current lite suggests a successor in the wings.

Me three on the aquav2
Can't say the same about the kayfun4 I'm gonna have to play it smart with that one. It was a great learning tool; but, as soon as I tried the taifun i was hooked.

They don't ship to the US anymore? My original Kayfun Lite came straight from the SM site.

Perhaps you are thinking of SvoeMesto.ru. They ship to the US. But they are slow slow slow, and their prices go up faster than the ruble falls, which is really fast. Though, actually I just checked and the ruble is getting crushed, so perhaps the prices are not that bad - but they are not discounting the kfl+

Hi everyone,
I have never seen or used a kayfun lite before but have just received a kayfun Lite+ a week ago.
I have been using either REO's with bottom fed atti's or drippers on super-t mods for the last 18months.

I havn't set it up or used it yet it as I am waiting on a glass nano kit, chamfered centre pin, DX top cap and mini top cap to be delivered from Avid Vaper.

I bought the Kayfun as I am hoping to pick up a vapor shark rdna40 soon and wanted a tank system to use on it as I have been spoilt with convenience of the bottom feeding Reo.

I am looking forward to trying it out though after reading and watching vids on it for the last year. :)

I almost forgot that I had a mini 18 months ago but only used it in drip mode then gave it away to a friend.

Not sure why you hold off on the build. The kfl+ in stock form is outstanding. Build it as is and enjoy, then tweak. I own a few nano kits, and find that they hold too little juice. And the avid kit I looked at is not only too small, but looks like a leaker. You will find out soon enough.

If you want a shorter topper, look at the short tanks from SvoeMesto. I like them well enough. If you vape tank crackers, get a glass kit from science of vaping. The top cap threads onto the chimney, holding the Pyrex (not Quartz) tank in place. Works very well, does not leak, and is fairly durable.

I also find that the shorter chimney on a nano kit vapers too hot for me. One of my setups right now is a pico kit from mod factory via cloud9. I fit it with a Pyrex wider bore tip from spectrum tanks. Nice setup on an 18350 mod. Very pocketable and a nice vape. I will try to post a picture tomorrow.

In anticipation of you getting your KFL in service, welcome to the club.

K-pico and Spectrum tanks Pyrex for the win!!!!
I love my K-pico...if yours is too small for good juice capacity, try using a standard tank ring, instead of a nano ring. It will make the K-pico chimney flush with the top of the tank! Looks killer!

Indeed, the k-pico is nice, and oddly seems bigger to me than the k-nano, which I also have. Thanks for the tip on the stock tank ring. I will definitely give that a try. As much as I like my many KFLs, I also love accessorizing 'em. If only I could find a competent topper with leather flappage, I would be in heaven.

Those thumb screws are terrible hahaha. You cannot appreciate how tiny those are until you have them in your hands and you're struggling to grab a hold on them

I figure you are talking about the pic I posted... yeah, I was surprised they didn't even put a Flathead slot in them... how hard would that be?!
