I've got mine set up with 2mm ekowool in a special 8, 30g kanthal, 5 wraps @ 1.8 ohms. Took about half a day to break it in but this thing is awesome! The flavor just keeps getting better. It's a little more airy than I'm used to but I'll adapt because it's just that good. I think my next build will be 4 wraps... gonna shoot for 1.5 ohms.

I am noticing a tiny bit of liquid on the bottom which I'm assuming is from the fill screw. It's not enough to really bother me though. I'm gonna try a little teflon tape tomorrow which, from what everyone is saying, should fix the problem.

In the end, if you don't have a Lite yet and are on the fence, just go ahead and get one. My carto tanks are officially in retirement.

I use a little teflon, but the o-ring on the mini-screw driver that came with them (if you got it) works well too.

As to why did you pay more at VapeRev than at Intaste...well, it's VapeRev they charge top dollar for everything thing. They can get away with it since they are really, really popular in the local area. Hell, they don't even really need to do internet sales...and don't for certain items. The SoCal vape scene has exploded this year, especially in the "high end" market. People are throwing piles of cash at certain brand names, one of which has been svoemesto.

I've been a confirmed geny user for quite a while. But I'm having a ball with these things. I received two of them; and I haven't put them down since yesterday.

i haven't even looked at my gennies since i got the KFL. i just cant believe how good the flavor is. i can't see myself really going back to a genesis style atty other than to play around once in awhile. i went boating yesterday with this KFL, it was HOT and it never flooded once going from hot to cooler enviroments. AMAZING. over 24 hours in now and its been hassle free and the most enjoyable vape to date.

I rebuilt one of mine today using the method you posted. It's working great! The captain ron, for whatever reason, has trouble in tanks. Not anymore! Even with a fresh battery, it's wicking like a champ.

Let us know how the dual coils work, and the configuration. I've wanted to try it, but so far single coil is working really well.

That's the same issue I'm having to be honest. And with the XC116 + 24 gauge wire, I'm betting this coil lasts me a long time. Shoot, one of my drippers is nearly 2 months old and still going great.

Maybe another Kayfun Lite is needed....

My order from Intaste last tuesday has not shipped out of Germany yet. I have gotten 2 email updates that they will ship out mon, or tuesday. I bet they have a large back log. I will only purchase from Intaste. The VR store is 10 minutes from my house. I refuse to purchase from a seller that shafts customers.

My first coil build & set up lasted over three weeks still going strong. I rebuild it last night only because I was bored and do not want to get caught during the week, when I can't as easily play. Didn't really need to, but WOW was the coil black. And the juice underneath the bell surrounding the coil was as well. Really looked nasty.

Cleaned everything up with vodka, built new set up & she is purring away quite nicely.

i'm wondering if any of you guys and gals in the US are having to pay customs duty when ordering from inTaste?

    None, AFAIK.
I don't pay either for ANY stuff coming from anywhere, including mods & attys from EU, except once - that InTaste initial purchase.

Not that I know of...my total price was $105 and that's with a provari ring. Mine has left Tennessee and will be here tomorrow. I've digitally signed for it so I won't have to be here. I ordered mine early Tuesday morning.

mine cost me 28.62 in duty fees. the good thing is, no tax, and cheap shipping, but still would have been nice to avoid the duty charge. when i order state side i never have to pay duty...

If InTaste had not mentioned "E-Cigarettes" (and that too in All Caps!) there wouldn't've been any issues. I get mods, attys etc. from Italy, Greece, Germany Korea etc. all the time -- never had to pay anything. And they all come by FedEx or DHL.

Not sure if this has been covered...I ordered 2 KFs from inTaste on the first run. Same great service as always. I was on their site last night looking at my soon to be Squape and thought I would shoot them an email telling them thanks. As we often forget. Especially after the idgets that gombed them with hate emails after their last hiccup. I got a replay that they will be shipping Monday the soonest...Christina. This must be generated automatically now to every inquiry or email?

I can't decide which I like better. I just set up one of my KfLs with a micro coil. 10 wraps of 28ga around a 18ga needle. Strip of cotton from a cotton ball for the wick. 1.1 ohms.
My other KfL is set up with 2mm ekowool, figure 8 wick. 5 wraps of 30ga. 1.7 ohms.
Both vape spectacularly. I don't know what the advantages and disadvantages of either set up are.
I can see that changing flavors with the micro coil would be easier. Just swap out the wick.

the micro coil is pretty good and 18g is at the larger end of the dial. if you are liking it, next time maybe try a slightly smaller diameter. they say 1/16 is the perfect size, I however use a 16g needle which is slightly larger. I haven't tried a larger size and not sure of the difference, maybe next time I will. also I might try a true 1/16 to see how the different diameters differ. also rule with my mc in the fun, I made a separation in the middle of the coil, just enough to pull up the cotton after threading a piece all the way through, I then cut this loop bringing each one to the juice, now you have 4 ends feeding. not really sure if it makes that much difference. also tried a different drip tip, although the stock one is very nice it does restrict a lot of flow

18ga needle is actually smaller in diameter than 16ga. With needles, the higher the number, the smaller the diameter. An 18ga is .05". A 16ga is .065"

I lined up a 16g needle with a 1/16 drill bit and they look identical in size. I bet that was fun threading cotton through that tiny coil!
