I can't answer your question, but I just measured the airhole on my Lite with a digital caliper and I get 1.26 mm (0.05 inches) on the airhole.

I think he's talking about the air-hole on the inside of the centre post, which can be rotated I believe to either loosen or tighten the draw.

Oh sorry, to be clear, on the 3.1 the outer airhole has a screw which can be loosened or tightened to increase/decrease airflow. It can be completely shut off or pretty open. I love it in the open position so I was hoping the Lite will have a similar draw as the 3.1 fully opened.

Thanks for your responses though!

I wasn't sure so I just gave him the info I could. You could be right. I don't have the adjustable version. Do you?

They are all the same. I don't think the adjusting part is exposed. I deduced that it can be adjusted by looking at the promo video where you see a hole drilled into the centre post. I figured that turning the centre post using the screw at the bottom would align the hole with the air hole on the side. How much you turn it would then adjust how much air enters the system. I could be wrong though.. It's known to happen occasionally. :D

Take a look at the promo video at around the 30 second mark. Does that make sense, or am I out of my mind? Mind you, I've not tried it myself..

I've been using a 5/64" bit with 30g and 10 wraps for 2.2 ohm coils in both of my Kayfuns and they've been fantastic all week.

I'll try this setup on my next build. The juice channel is right in the middle of the wick.

The air draw on the Lite is not intended to be adjustable. The only purpose the threaded center post serves is to attach the top positive connection block, and provide the positive connection.

Any idea why it has the hole in it though?

That's what I prefer for my Kayfun or Russian. I use Twik, which is sold by an eBay vendor. It's 1mm hollow Ekowool with a cotton core.

Twik is awesome stuff. I found that a 2.1 diameter nail / bit / hex key / whatever is perfect for wrapping a (mini) coil for it - the twik threads in without too much trouble, and expands perfectly against the coil. Makes setup and maintenance a breeze.

That said, I've gone back to 1.6mm (micro) coils and cotton in my KFL. For some reason that just works better for the tobacco flavors that I vape.

Edit to add: definitely boil and dry twik before use. Not necessarily for sterility reasons, but because the cotton core will likely wick just a bit better after having been boiled.

my k lite came from intaste- delivered first by fedex- then got the customs form in an envelope, saying i owe $12 or something,
listed as metal parts....
