I've read in some places you can use a piece of a credit card. I kind of fried one and after a lot of searching ended up at vaperev and just replaced both.

since I bored out the channels in my kayfun and have been getting some more juice feed I decided to build a dual coil setup to consume the additional feed. im running a thick all vg juice. still need to tweek and tune it a bit but it is actually an amazing vape so far, one of the best builds I've ever vaped in my kayfun. def a wacky build, over 50 wraps but heats up in 2 seconds flat and vapes like a beast. the hemp likes being a bit more dense than cotton making it perfect for feeding the centers of these long coils, hemp and the airflow at the center of the coils keeps the center from burning it just produces a really great taste, it's just feeding and vaping awesome
I made a replacement out of delrin, but I have a mini lathe.
The credit card thing sounds easy enough.

I vape solely pure VG, and have absolutely no problem with it, be it on KFL or KF 3.1
No problems at all... On the contrary. I find it way more stable with pure VG than with a PG/VG mix.

that wire is pretty thin, .2m german wire, it's 2.8 ohms, at 6v it heats up in 2 seconds flat and vapes awesome at 12 watts... I do want to drop it down a bit to hit 15 watts, 2.8 is a little too high but honestly it's vaping so well I don't even want to touch it right now...
well that's the plan and what I'm hoping for but sometimes when you get a really good performing build you just don't want to touch it for a while
i know what you mean. i was just trying to persuade you to do it lol. theres been times when i had my kfl running so good that when the time came to rebuild it i got a little sad because it might not come out the same as it did the last time lol.
What?! Y'all don't rebuild your coils every time y'all change your cotton out?!

my kayfun mini has been working so good that I really don't want to rebuild it, haven't rebuilt it it maybe 2 months, even the wicks are lasting me ~a week at a time as long as I don't overdue it and burn, really like the kayfun mini
