Maybe not a 1 to 1 clone but a duplication regardless, finish aside I would be interested in finding out why the performance is not as good.
Air channel larger or smaller, juice channel larger or smaller, ect. They should perform pretty close, I don't have one but I bought one for a gift the other day.

I hope they make the next kayfun lite with the adjustable pin like the R91. Mine doesn't line up the air hole in the center stud perfectly with the airhole in the side of the base. Just restricts it a tiny bit. Probably doesn't make a difference bit it does bother me a little.

I use both that and organic cotton balls. I find I get less cotton flavor out of the yarn but after the break in period I prefer cotton balls

If you got the 10 dollar shipping it takes around 3 - 4 weeks if you got the 25 dollar shipping it takes about 1 week

He said the kfl+ has a smaller chamfer, bevel, counter sinking, on the air hole compared to the kfl. Could this account for whistling? Would taking a larger drill bit to the hole and increasing the chamfer around it reduce or eliminate the whistle?

Yep, me too... I also untwist them, even if I use all four strands, seems to wick better for me; YMMV

Its very comfortable. It's acrylic made on a lathe. Very smooth and the air flow through them is really nice. Check them out they come in some sick colors, mine made it here in 2 weeks just in time for christmas. Also fits very snug in the kfl, no wiggle at all. Comes with a bigger o ring too. They're on a few different websites, with different colors
