Pretty! And with the holiday appropriate red tank section no less! The new drip tip design is nice.

There is a method to fill the KFL by taking off the top cap but you have to be careful. You have to make sure you tightened down the two chimney sections when you initially put it together otherwise when you take off the top cap you may also loosen the chimney section causing it to flood. This is more important on the Russian 91% than the KFL as I find the former is more likely to come apart than the latter.
Just start to unscrew the top cap section that your drip tip/mouthpiece goes into. Place a finger over the air hole on the bottom then continue to take the cap off. While keeping a finger over the air hole you can fill up the tank. Then put the top cap on until it just barely catches the first threads but do not tighten. Once the threads catch turn the device upside down for a couple seconds (so the air bubble can rise to the juice channels) then remove your finger from the air hole and finish tightening the top cap.
If you don't do the finger over the air hole/flip thing, when you screw down the top cap you will flood the chamber. If you need a visual of it check out the PBusardo video reviews of the KFL or Russian as he shows how to use this method.

Are these genuine KFL+ still whistling?
Since I never had a + before, I was playing around with the air-control thingamabob. I noticed that it started to faintly whistle the more open it was. It could just be air whistling over the controller screw that's causing it. I don't intend leaving it that open anyway, so not too concerned about it.

That's the other thing I like about the KFL. You can lay it on its side without worry. Can't say that about any other device.
Updates when you have them. Thanks. Also, compare the position of the + airflow control screw to the original KFL. Thanks again.

I had one of mine leak on me when it sat on it's side for a day or so. the airhole was facing down though...
