Since I never had a + before, I was playing around with the air-control thingamabob. I noticed that it started to faintly whistle the more open it was. It could just be air whistling over the controller screw that's causing it. I don't intend leaving it that open anyway, so not too concerned about it.

Just FYI, the air screw is pretty responsive, I found just a quarter turn would make a perceptible difference.

I never care for where my air-hole was and none has ever leaked. I have always kept my mods with K'funs horizontally.

Hey Q, I vaguely remember you saying to went to DXB with your KFL. Did it not leak on the flight, with all the pressure changes?

I've got a flight to Doha and then onwards to Goa coming up in a couple weeks, and wondering if I should use the KFL or fall back on the upside down Protank.

Filling - the only way I fill all 4 (soon to be 5 - Dusty I'm jealous but thanks for the pics and Akdare puleeeeze don't jinx me ;) )of my KFL+s is from the bottom, with a syringe tipped bottle that I squeeze until a tiny bit of juice shows in the fill hole. Easy - no guessing - no issues.

Whistling - only 1 of mine whistled, only a tiny bit, because I took the air hole screw completely out.

Valentine's Day - virtual truffles sent to all of you :vapor:

Dusty, I carry my K'funs all the time on flight. They never leaked.
Fortunately, thanks Almighty my K'funs just don't leak whatever I do - however I carry them or place them ;)

I don't vape inside the flight ~ do so in the smoking lounges. But have kept it "in view" inside the plane just to see if anything happened with the altitude variations -- nope, All Good, not a drop of weep, ever!

The reason why I get flabbergasted when I hear someone's leaked.
I personally feel the K'funs are designed not to leak. Viva SM!

I've never filled from the top either.. it's either a syringe if the juice bottle has an eye dropper, or just the regular nipple topped bottle. I just hold it firmly against the fill hole, and top up as needed.

Bingo√
I've never used a syringe to fill any of mine. Just the bottle (not a needle top either), straight into the fill-hole and squeezed the goodies in ;) Works well everytime. Another reason why the K'funs are sooooooo FUN!

Yep. I have those same luer lock top bottles...love them, and you can switch out to a plastic tip for your Kayfun Mini, or your Billet Box.

Sending positive energy to your delivery person...Happy V Day to you as well...

If I take mine between extreme temps, it might leak a drop through the air hole...but that is rare.

See, I have that issue too. When I walk to the train station, in our sub-zero temps, I will find a dribble of juice out of the air-hole after I get off the train (which was a lot warmer!).

I wonder if it's a sign of over-wicking or too much juice in the chamber.

Unnecessary, excessive juice in the chamber. Aka flooding, even if it's slight.

Usually occurs when your chain-vape in succession and stop. If you had taken another soft draw, or had fired the K'fun without a pull - it wouldn't occur.

I have a question for you guys....

My kayfun lite clone arrived in the mail today, along with the 30g kanthal (50ft) I ordered from ebay...

I read about using the rolled cotton from CVS....so I went to a walgreens (which is closer to my house), and bought Bandage Roll (100% cotton) in the first aid section.

Upon opening the package, although it is 100% cotton, the cotton isn't microfibers, the fibers are long, like string. Instead of it looking like the type of cotton you see in a cotton ball, it looks like longer strings of cotton, strung together.

Should I return this, and go to CVS and get theirs?

Yep. Or just use cotton balls.

Very likely..because I'm usually vaping all the way to the station, and then stop.. I shall give that theory a try, sir! Thank you!

isn't the kayfun lite supposed to come with a mini screwdriver??

Intaste in Germany includes one. VapeRev did not, and I'm guessing since you got yours from Russia, you did not get one from there either?!
