Then get a nice delrin top cap![]()
I have a Tarsius Full Size Kayfun Quartz Kit, i know the 1st batch came with bad tanks. Mine fits like a glove on my R91 now. I am also waiting on the SOV glass kit. Also won a free top cap, no notice yet. I actually like my Tarsius kit, but it is heavy.Did they get the kinks worked out of these? The initial run had some issues. Almost pulled the trigger on a kit at SHOMO but went with SOV. Hoping the SOV kit works out better, if it ever gets shipped.

is this the vendor you're talking about? Kayfun Hybrid Nano Clear Tank | eBay this vendor doesn't ship to Canada. i think I got off really lucky only paying 3.00 shipping to Canada! can't get shipping in my own country for under $10Dude from ultravape also has a eBay store selling the tanks for $12.8 shipped lol

I was going to also say that, about one feeding off of the others but haven't really done 2 side by side to see.Maybe it has to do with smaller diameter being more compact, feeding off the heat of itself better, like how touching coils heat up quicker than spaced coils. Maybe it's that smaller diameter equals more wraps at the same resistance. Or maybe one of the reasons you guessed. The quicker heat response is noticable with a large difference of diameter on two coils with equal resistance, but a small difference in diameter would be harder to notice. Dropping the resistance by say a tenth of an ohm would equal out the difference.
I have a Kayfun Lite and really like it. It has surprisingly surpassed my Z-Atty's as my primary Atty. They're just easy, and they don't leak!
I was interested in trying out the adjustable airflow and I liked the addition of the o-ring on the fill screw. Hey, this all sounds great right?
Well, I just got my new Kayfun Lite Plus2 from the Cloud9 in the UK. I have not set it up at all, as I think I'm going to return it. Thus the post. I want to make see if anyone else is seeing the same thing as me.
The quality of this Atty is not what I expected from SM. Mainly, it's two issues, Materials and Threading. The metal feels light and like aluminium. The threads are not even close to being as fine as those on the SMv3 or the Kayfun Lite I have. The pieces mate too easily and every threaded join wiggles until they are screwed down all the way or an o-ring is engaged. Then there's the evaporation chamber. It hangs up on the juice grooves on the base and doesn't screw down smoothly.
I have always loved the great threading on the other SM products I have. It's one of the reasons I switched to them from Provari.....IMHO - an even better quality build. These issues do not exists on with either my SMv3or my original Kayfun Lite.
Did I get a bad atty that should have been rejected by quality control, or is this the new norm for the Kayfun Lite Plus2 and SM in general?
