Is it normal for it to last a few days? I haven't been able to taste my e-juice since Monday.

I've had it last for about a week. Make sure your wick is nice and saturated. If that isn't the problem, you could also try vaping unflavored juice for a few days. After that you're sure to notice your flavor.

KFL Rwbuild kit!

Off topic from the current convo, but had to share. I just got my rebuild kit in and I am loving life! I striped the positive post on my KFL clone day one over a month ago. Been looking for the base and finally found it!

Fatdaddyvapes.com sells the entire rebuild kit. While I was there I picked up a magnet conversion kit for my Carvela clone.

Comes with everything even a ss base instead of brass for those that have the "minor parts are non-ss" clone.

Ok, built my first micro coil and WOW! Thank you guys for the advice. 28g kanthal, organic cotton, 10 wraps, 1.6 ohms. I was smoking 18mg nic juice and dropped to 12 in the Kayfun and with that micro coil build it kicked my throat and tongue's ...! I might have to drop the nic again. got light headed after a couple hits at 9.5 watts...lol. I've not seen this much vapor from anything yet. Thanks all for the suggestions and direction. Have no burnt taste at higher wattage yet but haven't really tested it yet.

I drilled out the airhole on my clone. What sandpaper grit should I use to smooth out the hole edges and process? Im a newbie at sandpaper and going to go pick up whatever I need after work.

I'd pick up a cheap set of diamond files, the really small ones used for models, etc. Way more control...

So far the vape seems about the same with this build as with a standard build, not getting any less TH. The vape actually feels a touch harsher, but that may be from a different factor than the gap.

Flavor and vapor is good, so I'm just hoping it gunks slower with the dirty juice I have planned for it. When I rebuild it after the going through the gunky juices, I'll probably go back to a standard coil.

Jerms, I find the Kayfun to be unfriendly to many of the gunkers you and I enjoy. No wick I have found can withstand even one full tank. I've relegated my gunkers to a dripping atty.

does that mean the airflow on the KFL+ is too restrictive compared to an RDA? that's why it gunks faster?

No Ron, the juice itself is gunky. Jerms and I vape a lot of NETs (naturally extracted tobacco). It's inherent in the juice itself. NETs destroy coils. They've correctly earned the title of "Atty Killers". I use a dripper for most NETs because it holds only 12 drops. When I sense the wick/coil is gunked I can easily replace the wick and dry burn the coil. It usually happens around the 2ml mark. At 4+ mls on a KFL the wick is trashed well before finishing the tank. And a dripper it is much easier to access the wick and coil vs the KFL.

There are some exceptions. Heather's Heavenly Vapes and some Ahluison NETs are clean burning and work very well in the KFL's.

I guess the best thing would be to just buy the nano tanks since they hold 2.5 ml of juice and fill slightly less than full :)

I also vape some really sweet juices that gunk coils fast I can only fill half tank before I have to dry burn and rewick

Yes, the nano kit would be an improvement. Truthfully, I enjoy the taste of a dripper as much as I do the KFL. They're both the pinnacle of flavor IMO. The magic of the KFL (to me) is it imparts dripper quality but with a large tank capacity (along with other pluses like it doesn't leak or produce dry hits).

The problem is, these babies are 24mg that were gifted to me. I can rock that on-the-go, but that's just too much for dripping at home. These are juices known from the gunkiest of NET vendors, I won't mention their name, but I really want2vape them ;)

I put a regular juice in to try test my new gapped coil. It's working really well, so trying the gunkers next, probably just a half a tank to start with.
