Lol hoarding more? For $110 u could have gotten a new one shipped from intaste

Got my 22mm mtank today, so while I was putting it on I soaked my 23mm tank in hot water and a little bit of dish soap but when I came back to it 30min later and drying it, it was cloudy...

Oh really? I was under the impression it'll end up being 120+ with tax and all. That was the price I always paid when I bought em off vaperev Damnit!

In any case my apartment got broken into last week. Apart from losing my TV, stereo and stuff, the burglars also made off with my 2 tackle boxes. Lost every single vape gear including my 2 weeks old nemesis and my KFLs and Russians. Thank god I had 3 clones and 2 r91 with me when I was out

Buyer's remorse is the worst feeling in the world hahahaha damnit.

Ah well I guess I wouldn't feel too bad if it's in a very good condition. Fingers crossed.

In any case, I'll be embarking on a new hoarding adventure :D

I started modding my VTR by (brake) honing it. 5 minutes only took .005 out of .100 needed
on to the dremel, buzz, buzz 15 minutes and .020 more. ugh.
The ring was looking pretty thin so I circumcised it with a hack saw
Chucked a similarly radiused grinding stone into my 1952 Rockwell - 5 minutes and some 220 grit and voila.
I should have skipped the hone and the dremel. It hadda go wandrin' a bit

It feels just right and hits smooth.

I'm good I'm good. I was surprised they took my microwave; it was a battered piece of ..... hahahahaha.

On the bright side I have a great excuse to check out the upcoming version of the russian 91. It's coming with spring loaded 510 connection, how sick is that?!

Is it the R91 were the chimney threads into the top cap? I heard rumors it was coming, saw a few pix. It will be a great advance & allow a glass kit to be captured.

I did the same mod to my VTR this week so I could use Kayfun Lites on it without the extension tube. The 510 threads were stripped on mine, so I also had to repair that problem. What I did was use a Smoktech air flow controller on top of the rotating "wheel". I installed it with four roll pins in holes drilled in the air flow controller and the rotating wheel.
Now I can use a Kayfun Lite and also do not have to deal with the rotating wheel as I drilled deep enough for the roll pins to go into the body of the VTR a small amount. I no longer have the problem with the ohms readout jumping around.

Not entirely sure to be honest. My greatest interest in attys were always the adjustable 510 connection. It's something that I'm obsessed with for some reason.

Also I'm just super glad that we are starting to see a divergence between the Kayfuns and the Russians. I've always felt that people give the Russians too much crap for being a "clone", in spite of the very comparable performance. And besides, this gives us vapers a great opportunity to experience and witness new innovations.

I own 2 Kayfun Lites, born July 2013. I also own 1 R91, from a pre order from vaportech usa. They were told not to sell at that price. I think it was 68 bux. Yes the 510 pin is adjustable. You could also put the same pin on a kayfun. My R91 sat unused for 2 months. At first i did not like the airflow adjustment. Now it is fine tuned & wearing a glass kit. My R91 is one of my favorites, just so many choices. I have mods with adjustable caps, so the 510's just sit there and look cool. But i agree, the R91 is not a clone. It is its own atty, with parallels with the kayfun family.

I've been using only my kfl+ v2 for the past month and only touch my r91 when I use the provari. But I'm about ready to switch it to have my r91 as the main cause my kfl v2 still whistle even with the AFC screw out and me beveling the airflow hole with 5/64 drill bit. My r91 is pure air intake noise while the kfl+ v2 is a mix of that and a whistle.

I understand what you did. I understand why you did it. I just couldn't do that, or anything like that with any of my gear. Each one is treated with respect and love because they are more then a nic delivery device for me, they are art. They all have their mates, and when they don't mate properly, time to spend money to find it a companion.

That said, nice work and clever.

Guess I'm in the club now . Got mine from VapeRev today at a good price. About ready to start my first build. What kinda builds are you guys running on your KFL's? I usually like something in a .8 ohm range.

Really excited that I'm not gonna have to break out a bottle every 4-5 hits as I have been doing on my dripper.
