Imagine if it just so happened that instead of a bike, it was a police car? Facepalm.Since we're all admitting to our stupidity...The other day I'm driving and the light turns red and I had to stand on the brakes. I stopped about 5 feet into the intersection. Looked behind and there was no one there so I backed it up to get behind the line. Waited patiently for the light to go green and hit the gas. I forgot to put it back in drive and went in reverse about 5 feet and stopped just inches in front of a guy on a motorcycle who was right behind me. He was more scared than angry. I apologized and went on. I noticed he stopped at the next gas station. Probably had to clean out his drawers.

I had a pickup truck back into me at a Gas station. It was one of those stations that had a Tim Hortons coffee shop with a drive through. Truck pulls into line and then must have changed his mind. I pulled in behind him and as I stopped, I see his reverse lights come on. There was no where for me to go, since somebody had pulled up behind me as well. Hammered on the horn but it was not enough to stop him completely, and he had to buy me a new front bumper. Could have been much worse..

Yeah, my kayfun was following somebody like you the other day, and was not so lucky. Got pretty bent up, and the tank turned yellow.

That is exactly how I do my Dual Coil Kayfun, only I use two tails of each wick on each side. Like this:
I tried that but with cotton it would stop up the juice flow so I started cutting it in half and just dipping it in the well. I'd imagine that would wick better as a rayon set up. May try that on my next rebuild.
What's your comparison of the ribbon wire vs the round?
Not sure if I'm ready to tackle another logistical nightmare or not.
Besides the ribbon, that's exactly how I do my kayfun duals. Best kayfun set up imo.
Sure. Give me an hour because I do that on my pc. Haven't tried doing that on my Mobil device yet

I'm looking to buy an authentic after having a few clones with issues. Besides where the AFC is between the KFL+ and a Russian 91% is there enough difference to justify one over the other? or are they close enough to go off appearance alone?
I own only the KFL. My plus has that airflow on the bottom which on first thought is inconvenient. However, after about two or three settings (less than a minute) I had the airflow dialed in and haven't touched it once since. My point is, don't let the position of the airflow screw deter you from the KFL. Let other factors determine your decision.
I got a Svoe M Kayfun lite plus recently which I fell in love with, so my darling husband surprised me today with a couple of Ehpro clones in pretty colors (gold, rose gold) The only issue with them is that they came without the clear poly window piece that I kind of depend on- would any of you wise people be able to point me to someplace that I can order a couple? He got them from Madvapes who do not seem to have that part on it's own. Thank you! =)

I would recommend the russian 91 over the kfl+.
Pretty sure it's not just in my head since I've heard a lot of people mention it, but my 4 r91s all have significantly looser draw at max opened AFC than the kfl. And the russian never. Neeeeever whistles.
And the r91 has adjustable 510 connection which I like.
But either, you can't go wrong. Both are great devices. I just prefer the r91 by quite a bit

Ahh, you're using twisted. What ga, ID, # wraps, resistance? Looks like about 1/32nd between coils???
