I do it all the time with my kayfun 3.1. Put your finger over the air hole and keep it there while taking the top off. Top off the juice, screw top partly on, turn tank upside down, and finish tightenig., all while holding finger on air hole. When you take top off, you will usually see some air bubbles coming up, but this has never been a problem for me. After filling, vape on the tank a few times to get vacuum pressure back in it. This system seems to work for me with no flooding issues.

Seems like such a hassle, why not just fill from fill hole? Is it something about 3.1's that people top fill?

Yes, the original 3.1 and most clones don't have the Bottom Fill Screw and have to be filled either trough their Spring Loaded Ball One Way Valve on the side, or from the top. I've been doing this for over two years with an exception of EHPro 3.1 which has the Bottom Fill Screw but you have to remove the Bottom Pan to get to it.

The idea, in that video, is to have the air trapped in the chamber while filling. If the air can't escape - the liquid can't enter the chamber while you are filling the tank and, therefore can not flood it. I've been promoting this method for filling Foggers for quite some time now.
1. Close the airflow intake.
2. Seal the Drip Tip.
And now you could squeeze your juice in without worrying about it getting into your chamber (Through the Juice Channels) and flooding it.
Of course, if you go crazy and create too much pressure, the air will find the way out as bubbles through the juice channels to escape. IMO

Hello guys I have one question. I found out how to fill my kayfun lite plus from the top but what can I do if I want to refill it from the top when the tank still has some e liquid? Thank you

1. Hold it vertically.
2. Open Top Cap while keeping your thumb on the Air Hole..
3. Add more liquid, keep holding your thumb over the Air Hole.
4. Start threading your Top Cap back on. Just a little bit, not all the way. Just enough to stay in place. Keep holding your thumb.
5. Flip Kayfun upside down, release your thumb and finish screwing the Top Cap all the way. Done :vapor:

P. S: Wait a minute... You said: "Kayfun Lite"? Then just use the Bottom Fill Screw to add liquid.

I never have any trouble filling from the bottom...with or without e-liquid in it. Just hold it upside down and fill er up. Leave a small air pocket to maintain pressure.

I think kayfun was perfect the way it was made. If they attempt anything such as dual coil or larger deck they will kill something about it and it won't be a kayfun anymore. Many designs have tried every possible combination that can be made with such a design. The truth remains the original always won. So i have my doubts regarding a better vape with a new design.

Is it a replacement or an addition to the line. That's the question.

Not sure if I agree. I think the market is moving fast and if you don't reinvent yourself, something new will come along and leave you behind. I think SvoëMesto is like the provari, and as you know a new Provari is on the way. If provari didn't reinvent a new deisgn, they would loose alot to these new super mods that are out now. We'll I think this is why the v4 is coming out and knowing SvoëMesto, it's going to be good

Thank you, worked like a charm! I had some flooding but I turned it upside down, blew through the drip tip with some paper towel near the air hole and the excess came out.

I have a quartz tank kit on and I can't fill it from the bottom, it floods through the drip tip :(

Also, lately I get a very warm vape with every build I make... I do raise the coil but only a bit so it doesnt touch the air hole. What can I do to make it a cool vape again? :(

I completely agree with you. If you consider the length of time they've had to design, engineer and test their new model I'd be willing to bet it'll be a game changer...just like the original was.

I guess... seems the 3.1's fill hole is a hassle to most? Dunno.

Hell no. The side fill-valve of the v3.1ES is a charm, a design marvel. It is so easy to fill the atty due to that contraption. And never leaks.

If only they could do the same on the KFLs, but they couldn't since there was no space ~ the base's lengths are different here.

^Bingo. That EXACTLY !

Single wick, deck design, perfect! Else it'd become an Aqua, Fogger, Orchid, whatever ~ and that's not a good thing ~ b'coz they are different, work well, but not mind boggling. Kayfun, est 2012, WAS. And thus the others probably wouldn't've happened if Kayfun didn't.

All they should do with the new version is tweak the tweakable! And leave their signature features as it is ;)

You can name at least 10 atomizers with a tweak here or there. Since they didn't match the original, I'm afraid an updated kayfun will also be left behind.

I can think of a few changes:

'Through-bolt' arrangement like the Erlkonigin to facilitate using glass tanks
Larger center pin and inlet passages for better air flow
Adjustable contact on center pin
Shorter post deck to reduce distance to the juice deck
Less headroom above the coil to reduce total chimney volume
Internally threaded chimney cap
'Toe clamps' to replace terminal screws
Reduced weight for base and top cap
