^ some other folks have gotten it and confirmed our suspicion: the mechanical integrity of the pin is poor. It doesn't hold the positive block down firmly. And besides it's likely to break at some point.
If the end of the pin was left intact on the end where it screws into the block very little restriction would be added but it would still probably fold or break towards it's center.

Someone here tried that and said it didn't work to well

yup. that was me.

for those that missed my post a few pages back, the silverback pin is junk. impossible to torque down. the deck freely rotates. and the producers solution was "umm just jam a bunch of crap between the blocks until things dont move."

avoid.

Big Buddha owners, beware:
If you bought a Replacement Glass Tank from KidneyPuncher.com , they DO NOT Warranty against DOA
if you chose to use USPS First Class Mail as your shipping option.
I have just received mine cracked and they would not replace it.

Had it been placed in a small box with bubble wrap it would have made the trip, IMO it was not properly packaged.

So, somewhere back in the thread we talked about a glass tank that was actually held in place, tightened down, instead of simply held with o-rings.. Welp, my buddy Richard Ng from YouTube sent me one made in Malaysia :toast:. This kit come with a Top Cop, Large and Nano glass, Top and Bottom Chimney, and Nano Top Chimney, and of course the screw on Tank Top and Bottom. The difference is the Top Chimney is threaded and screws into the Top Cap, which is also threaded. The Top Chimney is still sealed with an o-ring in the Top Cap.

Unfortunately, these are sold on Facebook and not sold to the US as far as I can tell.. Also, the Nano glass didn't survive the trip

My pics sux.. but show the tank and idea. I'm using my EHPro KFL+ v2 base.

Those are just the ticket. Hope it becomes available here, I'd definitely buy a few. I have the hope and a prayer style and no problems so far but I'm just waiting for it to come apart in my hands one day.

Good to hear; I like to see comments from actual users before buying the higher-priced stuff.
(really hate having the "Oh crap-- that was a waste of money!" reaction)

Thinking about putting this cap on the current Rainbow Heaven/Spectrum nano (which only holds 2mL):

Matte Grey Reservoir Mid Cap*
•Holds ~1-1.5 mL of juice

Would look good on wife's new Grey Zencote Provari mini.

*what is a 'mid cap'?
