I think it depends on the wicking medium and how much is used. With cotton, I find letting it sit for 15 minutes or so lets the juice saturate the cotton. With Rayon, a few minutes and it's ready to go.

With my walgreens cotton if I don't let it sit at least an hour then it dry hit pretttty bad. Also never been able to pull off a rayon wick that didn;t dry burn something fierce.

ERMAGERD. Got my rose v2 today. DAMNED thing is a pain to build. Makes me love my kayfun more.

That aside, HELLOW NEWELL

Hi Kiwi, I've got mine too. Not impressed by it at all. It vapes about the same as Kayfun and Taifun. Nothing special.

For now I run it at 1.2Ω on 18650 Nemesis with 15 Watt Kick.

Later, I'll try dual coil sub ohm.

Where did you hear that??? It's very absorbant.

Is it absorbing the liquid, or just transporting it? I think Silica just transports the liquid through the fibres, as opposed to something like Cotton which actually absorbs the liquid into the fibres, thus swelling up when it's soaked.

Regal, I'd suggest posting a picture of your wicks. I'm pretty sure we'll find that you're using a bit too much which is hampering the efficient wicking of liquid through the coils.

Is it me or does the KFL perform better after letting sit for an hour or so before starting to chain smoke it.
After a build I saturate the wicks really good, once closed up they are good straight away and I never see any difference from first vape to 30th vape. The only time it does work better when letting it sit is when I perhaps don't quite have enough cotton in the coil, by letting it sit for a period of time, the cotton fully swells and then fills in the coil.

Ditto. I saturate the wick ends so I can paste them to the side of the deck. Before I screw the tin hat on, I give the coil a drop of juice. Hits the first time...no wait.

I find that too after a chain vape and it is not performing perfectly. Set it down and start using another, after all you can never have too many. After a while it is back to normal.

Do all of you love this thing like I do. I have 3 and getting my first clone on Monday. An EH Pro 2 holer Lite plus V2. I had to try one. For $25 I figure if it works as well as I have heard I can get even more. Wish I could afford more PV's. Oh well with 4 I can keep em going prettiy well.

I have 5 originals, if that helps answer your question. Pretty much all I've been using for well over a year. :D

That is exactly my experience on both counts.

My macro camerea broke, not buying another. I have good sucess with the wick once I got the coil right.

Vapdivrr,

I think I 'm noy saturating enough but I think there is some merit to prime +pulsing then letting it sit to start the natural prime going. Do you smoke like more like a pipe or when you smoked was it a pack per hour or more?

I know the prime thing but explain the prime and pulsing? Is that what you do after a build? You mean you saturate then fire it without vaping on it? If so and by doing that and letting sit for a while works, then that's ok as long as it does perform well after that wait. Personally I saturate wick but never fire the coil ever until I assemble tank and vape it for real. The only time I fire it, is when I dry fire coil before wick. I don't think I vape like a pipe, I usually take 2 to 3 vapes in succession, those vapes are very long and slow. When I smoked, I did a pack and a half per day and did that for 30 years.

I've noticed when I first start, I use a single microcoil with rayon, I saturated it really good before buttoning it up,then start vaping. I cover the air hole and pull a little juice up at first and in the first 20 or so hits I might get a slightly dry hit I just cover the air hole again and pull some liguid in. After a rewick it seems to take 3 or 4 times of doing that and then its fine for the rest of the tank. After a little experience I know just how much to do it so I don't flood it. IMO not that big of a hassle for the great vape you get once its firing on all 8 if you know what I mean.
