I can hardly wait to try a kayfun coiled with Ni200 (looks like my Vapor Shark rDNA 40 is still a couple of weeks away).

Is anyone here doing that yet?

I've done that and found that Kayfun, due to it's limited airflow, is NOT the best candidate for NI200/DNA40.

IMHO: Rove V2, Flash E-Vapor, Erlkogenin, Fogger V4.3 and Squape R, that I tried so far with NI200, - Are much better for DNA40.

The way I understand it: DNA40 Temperature Control monitors coil's temperature (through monitoring it's resistance real time) and limits the power when the coil gets hotter then the user set limit. Therefore the coil need sufficient Juice Flow and Air Flow as cooling to keep going. A juice flow could be achieved by using different types of wicking material (Rayon) and/or enlarging the juice channels. But there is nothing you can do with that 1.6mm air hole in the center pin of a Kayfun because the outer diameter of it is threaded M3 - 0.5

Here is my best performing NI200 build on Rose V2:

And second best on Fogger V4.3

And third on Squape R Clone that I had to re-design in order for it to work:

I maybe a light weight compared to you but I am very happy with the Russian 91% Ni200 and DNA40 at 15 watts. Different strokes...

Enjoy your builds and the Squape clone rebuild is excellent, bravo!

I said: Kayfun has limited airflow which could be enough for 15 Watt vaping, but if you want to go higher...

That Fast Tech Squape R was the worst clone of Squape R[eloaded] ever made. It was shorting everywhere. I completely re-designed it, and now it works flawlessly:

Kayfun-4 TEASER :)

"Kayfun V4 will be available in several diameters and there will be hybrid connectors for different mods. Kayfun V4 will have improved deck with ability to install dual coil builds. Wicking should be similar, there will be liquid control and top filling without removing the top cap.

There will be two air channel kits to choose from and later there will be an upgrade kit for hardcore sub ohming with even larger air flow. Standard airflow kit will work with down to 0.8 builds on a mech, sub-ohm kit should work fine with 0.3-0.4 Ohms. Auge is using his KF4 with 0.7 to 1.1 Ohm builds.

The way all features are implemented are not copied from anything else on the market. One RTA has one similar implementation of one unnamed feature, but they did not see that before implemented in Kayfun V4.

Kayfun V4 will not whistle. There will be metal tank, glass tank and polycarbonate tank, all included in the kit. They all will have different visual designs. Kayfun 4 is made out of about 41 elements. Drip tip will be included, 510, replaceable.
