I have only authentic KFLs. And while I believe cloning has an element of stealing I also have a feeling the authentic makers don't lose many sales to clones because those who buy clones likely would not spend the big bucks on the originals. And what is an appropriate time to "protect" the designers? Especially in a fast paced market like e-gear. Notwithstanding the earlier conjecture (that I believe is purely speculative and presumptuous) on what SM profit margin is, would if the K4 was priced at $80 instead? Would that wipe out the clone makers? I don't like the element of stealing any more than anyone else. At the same time, I have no sympathy for the authenticaters who charge a hefty price for their product. Don't kid yourself, svoemesto didn't put out these sleek new ads and designs without having made a ton of loot on their 3.1's and KFLs.

Really? Slick ads? My kids could do the same. Since when should you decide their profit margin? How much did you invest in the next batch? What loss will you take if the kf4 is not as popular as expected? Commie talk, I say. Evil. Pure evil.

Come on. If you cannot budget for a kf4, buy something else - not steal. Or save until you can. Or buy something else. Why should anyone shed tears 'cause you cannot afford a Cadillac? The kayfun is a mod, not food.

Just in case I gave the wrong impression, A kf4 might be more valuable than my car, because my car is a complete heap. I only buy what I can, and never steal what I cannot. My priorities. Shame on those that act otherwise.

Well...been a few months since ive been on this thread... is the same clone Vs authentic argument still going on???
Really???
Can we all agree that so long as there is a demand for something at a given price someone is going to supply that demand.

If What Person "a" does with their money does not effect person "b" why does person "b"care?
Case closed.
get over it and move on...
Im going to go grab some best value chocolate chip cookies because they look like chips ahoy and make me happy

what it is!?

As far as I'm concerned, the KF4 is exactly what SvöeMesto promised...
And that was a perfected Kayfun...
I don't know where I read it, but that is the statement from SvöeMesto himself...
The KF4 is/was not meant to be a game changer. Just a "take everything we've learned from previous models, and make a really awesome" Kayfun...

Just like the (Provari) P3, it's a blank slate. It's a start over. A new beginning place. Yes the older ones work fine, but the new models are the new starting point.
So don't think of the Kayfun4 (or the P3) as the "next chapter"...think more along the lines of it being the first chapter in the new world of vaping ahead of us.

The boost feature on P3 was a considerable jump in the vaping experience for many of us...the actual vape itself. The rest are updates and bells and whistles. I haven't seen anything like that on the K4. It's all bells and whistles to me. Don't get me wrong, those add-ons to the K4 are going to be important to many people. It's up to each of us to decide if it is worth the price tag. But I do see a difference in the new P3 release relative to the K4 release.

And yet the first device to have the boost feature (which is programmable to the tenth of a second intervals btw) was the evic so the P3 wasn't ground breaking at all.

I realize boost is not a ground breaking feature from ProVape. I knew it was not. The DNA 40 has a similar feature with Temp Protection. In fact, my guess is it will be a standard feature for many/most regs in the months to follow. Nonetheless, the P3 has it and it is a valuable feature to many. I have not seen anything that has improved the vape quality on the K4.

Neither the p3.

Don't get me wrong. I don't have anything against the P3 but it brings nothing new. Yeah, sure it's better than the P2.5 but that's expected. The kayfun v4 has improvements over the v3 but the only thing new / different is juice control which, for now, only appears to improve refilling.

The last ground breaking thing I've seen is the introduction of temp control from the dna 40.

I'm not sure how you vape, but I am a low power vaper. I'm in the 7 - 10 watt range. Boost allows me to go to thicker wires without having to wait for heat-up time. Thicker wire gives me more coil area which yields more flavor. So yes, for me, the P3 boost feature brings something very new to me in terms of actual vape quality. If someone already vapes at 15 or higher watts, the boost feature is worthless.

Intaste.de posted the price as well. 125 euro without VAT, 155 US dollars. I think it is pretty good. I was expecting 185-200 range

Umm... Intaste.de - SvoёMesto 149.00 EUR incl. 19% VAT. excl. Shipping costs

Nevermind..

It's $170 Canadian. :(
