Been waiting for this kayfun for a while and just ordered one today...have been vaping kayfuns for many years, from the 3.1 to the 5 . So far my fav has been the km3 , which imo has the best flavor of any kayfun, but the 19mm is kind of thin. I will be extremely happy if this prime has equal flavor to the km3 and being 22mm and a 2ml tank should be awesome. ...

Yea I bought the 4.5 ml extension but honestly prob won't use it. Smaller tanks always Tend to work better and the top fill feature makes it even less of a hassle. Mine is arriving tomorrow! Does anyone know if it is the same size Pom tip and thread of the 5? Would love a white Pom tip a few mm longer than the black it comes with.

I guess it's more like the K3 Mini with outer dimensions of the K5 and better (more flexible) AFC compared with K3 Mini. But just and only for MTL, so different to K5. The deck besides the air hole is more or less the same as K3 Mini.

Is this a guess, or based on a measurement?

Thanks, Jim

I'm waiting for the reviews of the masses on this new Kayfun Prime. I'm hoping that it's all it's promised to be. For real ...

I bought and vaped all the iterations of the Kayfun and still ended up back at the V2. I vaped the K3 for a really long time until I picked up my first KF2. I liked the Phillips fill screw on the bottom over the side Allen screw on the V3 and the slightly shorter height.

The K4 and the K5 lost me quickly. Flavor was slightly better, but the design was a little over the top (Lots of extra parts for the slight flavor increase). I still have three K4's and one K5.

V2 is just too easy and familiar for me. I don't need juice flow control or widely adjustable air flow. The big selling point is that it's a no-leak pocket carry. That's a major plus in its column.

That said, I really like the Kayfun Mini V3. It's a flavor tank and one that is pocket safe. It gets filled and vaped here and there, but the juice capacity makes it more of a home use tank.

After watching Todd's review the KF Prime seems to have merit. He says the flavor is more like the KF Mini V3 and I do like that one.

There's very few reviewers left that are actually MTL vapers; those are the only in my book that have any credibility. If I was to review a DTL tank I wouldn't do it any justice because I just don't enjoy vaping that way.

And that's why it's important to watch and read multiple reviews of new products. Not everyone who publishes a review is the same style vaper as the reader.

Aside from the obvious differences, the top cap internals are changed

So how does the Prime compare to the KFv5? I'm especially interested in whether the build deck, and the juice flow holes both from the juice chamber and to the deck, are the same size.

The Prime build deck is smaller than the K5. As far as I can tell, the juice flow is the same. The part of the chamber with the holes is more slanted in the Prime because of the smaller chamber, but given the positioning of the holes I don't think it would make much of a difference.

I got mine yesterday and maybe I got a dud but I'm not all that impressed. Everything is really thin giving it a cheap feel. It feels like what I would expect a clone to feel like. I'm not a fan of the glass either. It's very thin and the edges appear to be raw. Same with the extension glass. Temp control is a giant pain and been through 5 26awg 316L builds and haven't had any luck at all with a consistent vape in temp control. Seems even worse than the v4 in temp control.
