Try this method on your next build…more wick on coil=more vapor & flavor. 1.5mm 28ga 1.25ohm

1 piece looped back up off the decks and over the top, I find a little bigger gap between the bottom of the coil and the air inlet helps, I really haven't found a wicking method that produces the flavor and vapor this one does, and if you try it be patient, it takes a bit of break-in, well worth the wait.

Looks awesome Truman.
I may give this a go tonight.
I just got 2 kayfun lite clones in from FT.
I have 2 of the 3.1 clones on the way as well.
I also have 2 russian 91% clones coming from vapor break.
Also another from focal ecig.
LOL
I am kayfun/Russian CRAZY I tell ya.
The firast one that got me started with these attys was a real Russian 91%
I decided to get my whole fleet going with these great attys.
It's gonna be hard to top off all 15 mechs, but I'm about half way there now.

Truman,
I put a new wick in my Kayfun Lite earlier tonight and did what you are saying about looping the wick tails back up to the top of the coil.
Wow, that made a lot of difference in the flavor. I had seen your build on the Kayfun Lite thread and had been wanting to try it.
I don't know why I waited so long to try it.
This will be the way I wick from now on. I used the Peaches and Cream yarn for this wick, but I normally use organic cotton balls. Which do you think is better, the yarn or cotton balls?

You have a link to that? I'm having a hard time picturing it in my head. Thanks.

Sorry this is all I've got...very simple Bizzy, install your wick as you normally would, just leave enough wick to loop back up, you'll tuck in on the coil sides between screw heads and coil sides...that's it.

thank you Truman, so the wick (cotton) will still go through the coil, correct?

Leave a slightly larger gap between the bottom of the coil and airflow tube, and a little less cotton as well...I've never had any issues with a tight draw. More wick on coil=more flavor/vapor...for me anyway.

I would really like to see a video of the "truman wick". I'm sure it would help others also. I haven't tried it yet but I learn best seeing it being done.
Thanx for sharing it!

not to be a troll or anything but wasnt this the way RIP did his regular horizontal microcoil in his microcoil/chimney coil video?

Anyways after giving up on chimney coils and sacrificing its flavor by going back to horizontal for better VP... gonna give trumans wicking method a try at my next tank refill. I can already imagine how much juice that setup uses lol

Edit: wouldn't that extra amount of cotton cause frequent dry hits?
