
I think you might be over-thinking this. as truman posted eariler: "..
install your wick as you normally would, just leave enough wick to loop back up, you'll tuck in on the coil sides between screw heads and coil sides...that's it."
using the above pics from dnutz as a reference for typical wick lenght.. the only difference between them, is that the wick needs to be a little longer...so that it can go down into the deck as dnutz did.. but with the extra lenght, after you reach the deck, simply do an U-turn back upwards...and leave it siting on top of the coil.. no "back into the coil" required
