Kayfun V3 or V5 - can it vape 50/50 or 60/40

I use 60vg/40pg in both of those tanks with no problem. V3 has a much tighter draw over the V5, so that may influence your decision as well. V5 was my go-to for quite awhile but I find its airier than I like these days, even with the airflow set to the lowest setting.
I only use 50/50 in my KFMV3, and don't have leaking issues. Just get the wicking right. I have the JFC open 2 full turns. YMMV.
And I use 50/50 in my V5 with no problems, so that works too.
@Vaping_Racoon, you've piqued my curiosity - why can't you use high VG in the winter?
If you go v5 spend the ridiculous amount of money and get a genuine one. The clones of it I've found aren't up to snuff.
No problem at all with SXK Kayfun V5. Use it right now with 60/40, it also got a tighter air hole then original Kayfun.
I live in Canada where it hits -40 celcius during the winter. With liquid any higher than 60/40 it's an automatic dry hit 2 minutes after you go out. VG freezes way faster than PG in the winter.
I used to drip because of that but even a dripper isn't ideal and will have dry hits.
I need a winter proof setup cause I gotta get out to vape at work. That's pretty much it.
Ah, now it makes perfect sense. I've always avoided higher VG for other reasons (it makes me wheezy) so I've never had that pleasant experience, but I've received enough winter vape mail to see how the cold affects VG.

Agreed, my $12 clone ($14 with shipping and tax) from fasttech is flawless. Even when I cleaned it there was no sings of machine oil or metal shavings. I've had to replace a couple of the glass tanks since I've owned but other than that I love the thing. With that being said I will be buying the authentic because I want another one and do want to support the Svoemesto.
That I have not found a clone that works reasonably well? False. That No effective clone exists? You may be correct. I've tried 2. If you do know of a clone that works well feel free to enlighten me. I'll go buy it.
3fvape has the SMJY KF5. Here is a comparison. I've had one for over a year. Original orings still never leaks, and the threading is better than most tanks I own. Just got a second one. Same quality. Here is a side by side comparison.
I have 2 of the Tobeco Kayfun V5 clones from eciggity. Excellent customer service and quick delivery. I highly recommend them.

I found the SXK KF v5 mini to be an excellent product, I've ordered 5 of them, 3 for me 2 for someone else. If it wasn't a matter of cost I would buy authentic everything everyday but that's not where I am in life right now. I imagine the authentic is a beautiful tool but the SXK versions worked beautifully for me. I find them too airy for how I like to vape right now.
Tried it. Though most of the dimensions are right, the Machining is poor. Couldn't get it to reliably wick.
Sxk kfv5 mini is not a clone thought. Doesn't exist any mini of the original (it's a Kayfun v5s on the way though).
