It does look like a sleeper !

I have tried them(sleeper builds) a Couple of times but I really struggled trying to get it right . I was trying on a tugboat v2 though and I think the cramped deck was part of my problem. I think the extra room in the k24 would really make things a bit easier. I would love to see those pics whenever you get the chance.
2 separate coils, not a sleeper, just a clean install.

This is 26g framed 4x .2x.2mm lightly twisted square wire with a 34g alien wrap. Not a sleeper either. 2 separate coils. What I do before installing coils is push the leads through and see if I have enough room to fit another in the centerpost. After that, I'll install one coil, fit it so its centered, clip the excess leads & pull it out and do the same for the second coil. Then once everything is clipped & nicely in place I'll put the first coil that I fitted back in the posts.

Hmmm....I like your process ! On 3 posts I usually have one hand holding my screwdriver and coil in place while I'm fitting the second coil in. Then when I screw everything down tight I usually have that one lead on the center post that is a super ..... to clip. Now writing this I feel super silly I have been doing it like that for this long..... Nice build though

Thanks. For simple builds like single 20g or 22g or parallels, there's always enough room for me to fit the leads through the centerpost and clip after installing the second coil. So to avoid having to hold up the first coil installed I'll bend the excess lead vertically at the post & the side lead I'll bend horizontally. That way the coil usually stays in place. I find that putting the lower leg on the side posts helps me level out the coil above the airflow & that lead is the most important. I leave a little excess on the side post leads just in case I need to push the coil over the AFC holes.

I'm considering a copper Ruby. Only a couple things keeping me from pull the trigger. Copper flavor? I'd like a spare center post and positive insulator to know I could repair it. How to clean the positive battery contact? Sandpaper on a stick? Weight. Not sure I want to carry that much weight. How much atty heat gets conducted to the hand and battery?

Edit: Anyone know anywhere other than saveonvapes(.com) to get the 24mm slam cap? Is saveonvapes trust worthy?

Even if you had the means to press fit the post, I doubt Kennedy would provide spares due to liability. Damaged units are typically sent in via RMA and either a repaired, or a new unit is returned in its place.

Fiberglass scratch pen. Though sandpaper on a stick would work just as well.

Weight. Not sure I want to carry that much weight.
A legal baton in the pocket. What is not to like about that :) ?

Quite a bit. To the point where when chain vaping on low builds, I sometimes verify my setup to ensure that it is not a short causing the rise in tube temperature.

saveonvapes = LA Vapor Works in Montebello, CA. They have a good business relationship with Kennedy. Trustworthy (I have purchased form them in the past), though I would prefer to contact Kennedy Enterprises directly.

I quite like my subzero shorty and black/brass kennedy!

I'm by no means a cloudchaser....but the guy that built it dropped it down to a .11 and all my juices just explode with flavor. I'm honestly considering a double helix designs gold flaked drip tip just for ....s.

TLDR; get one. or 5. I originally had a v1 clone...I now see the difference. It's just a damn good vape!

Is that the 24mm slam cap or is the super slam cap even shorter?
It's the 24 slam cap. I was just quoting what it was called on his Instagram account. I have one, my pre-release cap is the same difference in height as my black ceracoate cap & it pretty much goes down as far as possible to the screws.

Are they out right now? I don't follow. They look amazing.
The Fat Dragon Tip is available on the Kennedy website. It definitely changes how the atomizer vapes and is more comfortable to use. YMMV on the latter. Also, I no longer remove the cap to drip as the widebore allows for improved (visual) juice capacity feedback.

I placed my order for 2 x black and a 1 x green fat dragon tips this morning

Found some stab wood dragon tips by Odis. I've only found them sold out of Canada. ODIS Stabilized Wood Kennedy Chuff Tips - Odis Collection

They look quite nice, but I haven't been able to find out what resin they use. Don't know if they handle the heat or if there are any health risks.

Edit: typo

Those look sweet.

Weird thing though - look at the description:

"510 drip tips in a variety of colors made by Double Helix Designs."

I've looked on Jess-Marie's site and see no stabilized wood dragon tips.

I'm a little leary...
