Yes I know I need to clean them, the SS slam cap is quite dirty but it's been my every day carry on my Rolo for some time now. Next rewick I'll clean it. I got the black one direct from Kennedy so the difference in fonts is real. The super slam is the same but just smaller. Also it's been brought to my attention that there are 2 different sized super slam caps?

Where are people getting these slam caps? Never once seen them on the site.

Edit: The 24mm ones.

I received two slam caps from Save On Vapes. A copper one a month ago and a stainless steel on this week. The copper one is 2mm shorter than the Stainless Steel. I did notice with the copper cap if the negative post screws were unscrewed enough to open the post holes completely, the cap would bottom out and not fit flush. Not an issue for me as I run naked wire, but some chunky claptons may have been an issue. The font is much bigger on my stainless steel cap. I haven't tried the stainless steel cap yet. I'm not going to be happy spending the extra dough if the vapes not as good as the smaller cap.

Yeah I measured mine out to be 2.1cm or 21mm in height. But the short cap I've had since my first k24 is a beta cap, prerelease. The drip tip is also significantly shorter going into the cap, it sits flush with the top of the inside of the cap. Maybe it's not the cap, but the dt that's causing you're issues with your copper cap?

I have been out of the loop too long and foolishly have only been checking the Kennedy site, waiting on the release of the slam caps.

Ordered a copper and a stainless steel slam cap from Save on Vapes.

Already have 2 x black dragon tips and a green one which isn't very green.

Love how the dragon tips have added to the perfomance of the K24, how are you finding the slam caps is there an improvement over the flavour.

Yes. I prefer the flavor and warmth of the slam cap.

That is good to hear, how is
Yes. I prefer the flavor and warmth of the slam cap.

That was the feedback I was hoping to hear.

Have the slam caps help eliminate the early coil carbonisation issue, caused by the thickness and heat from the original caps.

I was hoping the dragon tips would go some way towards resolving it, by allowing the rda to cool down faster but have found no difference.

Good question. Personally, I find myself wicking less often with the Slam + Fat Dragon. I was planning to create a standard testing condition using eScribe to automate draws, but came to the conclusion that there there were too many variables to control. Based on your feedback, I updated the review notes for the Fat Dragon by reducing the authority of the first bullet point (editing the Ruby review will require the intervention of a moderator). Until then, here are a few more shots...

I received my order of a stainless steel and copper slam caps from Save On Vapes.

Stuck them in a jar of alcohol to clean, and only have had a cursory look, as I just got home from work. My first impressions are that they certainly didn't feel like the authentic Kennedy quality I am used to.

The copper has that nasty copper smell, which my copper K24 does not and I could feel the logo under my finger tips, which again I can not on any of my Kennedy rda Caps.

I bought these believing they were authentics, are these clones, or are they rip offs.....

Have had a closer look, and still dubious as to the authenticity of these K24 slam caps from Save On Vapes.

The copper cap still smells of copper, even after a 20 minute soak in vodka. The machining does not feel right and the logo is suspect in my opinion. I will be taking and posting pics.

I have never bought anything from Save On Vapes before, but they appear to be marketing these as authentics and at 40 bucks a pop, I would expect them to be.
