KFL+ Ehpro, tobeco, hcigar 3.1, black edition? Anyone of them better than the other?

I also did not find the pin to be adjustable (unless I was just doing it wrong). Fortunately, neither of the pins on the two I own needed to be adjusted. The real kayfun has an adjustable pin, doesn't it? I sold mine, but I think I remember it was adjustable.

Don't think so but the russian does I believe. Sadly I don't own one to confirm

I have a real KFL+ and bought a TOBECO clone a week ago. After fiddling with it enough to get it to stop leaking it works and vapes as well as my real device. Outside of the leaking I noticed the threads are scratchy and the finish between the upper/lower ring and the center ring (mine had no clear center section) was inconsistent. Not bad for the price at $32. Today I just got in an EHPRO clone and just taking it apart and looking at it I can say the build quality is about (if not as good as) the svoemesto model. I'll post more once it's built. I paid $34 for the EHPRO on eBay and it included the M-tank and a clear center section.

Nice price. THey come in with tons of machine oil on them I take them all apart and put them in hot water less o-rings ofc with some dawn dish detergent. Cleans oils off pretty well. Takes a few times but worth the wait. Then run hot water over them for a few minutes and throw away the silica wicks and coil they sent.

So I just washed mine down with a little Dawn, built it with 28 gauge at 1.2 ohms (my other KFL+ builds were all 32 gauge so I thought I would try something different) and it was as easy, smoothe, and fussless as my Svoemesto was. I would recommend the EHPRO over the TOBECO, until TOBECO ups their game again. I think next tank I'll rebuild with 32 again though.

Quick point though, with the thinner 32 wire it will be much harder to replace cotton and won't last as long as 28 26 kanthal. Ofc that is if your using cotton.

I got my Tobeco KFL+ clone 2 days ago (can't beat $29.99)

Cons:
Doesn't include a clear tank section (I'll be ordering a nano kit anyways, so no biggie)
Threads on the tank/chimney needed a few full screw/unscrew sessions to "work in" (they are all nice and smooth now)
Slight whistle on inhale from the airhole

Pros:
Great price
Has all of the "good" features of the other clones...
O-ring on the fill hole (not like the earlier versions with just a countersunk screw)
Separate positive contact/post screw
Fits all of my drip tips perfectly
Good (not "perfect" but more than acceptable) 510 threads
Lots of extra o-rings and screws

Overall, for $30 I'm more than pleased. If I find myself using it a lot, I'll step up to the real deal.

@Legolas - I do use cotton and I haven't had an issue replacing cotton those in the 32 gauge coils, you obviously have to be more careful though I agree!

@Mitey F - Take out the air adjustment screw from the base of the RTA, no more whistle.

That's one of the first things I did. It helped some, but didn't get rid of it completely. Like I said though, it doesn't particularly bother me...

Well I got my hands on both the black edition and the Ehpro models. Vape is near identical and build quality is great for both. Just some minor differences with finish, clear sections, air adjustment screw head, and the screws that hold the coil in place are better on the Ehpro IMO. When I tried attaching the coil 28g onto the BLACK EDITION the screws had a hard time holding the wire in place but no problem on the Ehpro. If I were on the fence I would go with the Ehpro because it's cheaper but has pluses. You get the big M tank included. My tiny gripe is the air adjustment screw head has tiny thin line to adjust with where as the BE has a hex head making it easier. Not much of a gripe though considering I remove the adjustment screw completely anyways. I have not tried interchanging the parts between the 2 yet but will when I run both dry and need to change the cotton.

I got the EHPro kayfun Lite, and along with my MVP v2 it is the best vape I have had to date. Had to fiddle with the cotton to get it set up without leaking. (Was using too little cotton caus I was afraid of blocking the channels) Now that I use a little bit more I have absolutely NO problems. I got mine for 41 dollars from eciggity.

Just received the ehPro KFL+ from that eBay vendor. Great price for a very nice quality product. I'd say it's a little better than the Tobeco I had. Not by a lot, but like mentioned above, the post screws are flat bottomed, so they tighten a little better, the air control screw is a flat head instead of hex, and I like the 510 connector a little better without the extra screw in the middle like the Tobeco one had.

Other than that, the plastic is frosted on the ehPro, but I preferred the clear one that came with the Tobeco.

But for the price, overall I'd say the ehPro is the best out there currently IMO.

I received my EHPro KFL+ clone today :)
I am very happy with it. Especially at the $34.00 price point (ebay).
Nice properly rounded/bulbous clear (frosted) tank - not like the straight cut like others sell/come with.
The build quality is definitely on par with the R91%. Very nicely machined.
I like the large bevel cut on the top cap - unlike some of the other KFL clones that are almost square.
The wick channels are properly sized.
I found the airflow to be a little tight compared to my R91% - I like a more open style draw.
Needed more air. So, I drilled out the 510 center post airtube to 1/16" down the center and did the same to the sides holes.
Then I drill out the base to 5/64" for more of a venturi effect. I leave the airflow adjuster screw in - more "direct" airflow (also removing it while flush mounted doesn't help much) , but backed all the way out. Now it's more like my stock R91 (wide open).
