Completely off topic, but I've been considering starting an aquarium soon. It's a lot of work that requires a lot of research though, so I can't just jump into it like I want to!

Sorry you missed that elusive Postman
If you need any tips, I can help you. Just dont get a 10 gallon with goldfish. Recipe for disaster.

In case I forgot to post here.... I'm using my Killers as bottom feeder BF attys sans tank. They work great!! You do have to use the bottom adapter or the huge holes on threaded portion allows in way too much air. With adapter medium draw; not too stiff or airy. (I like a pretty stiff draw.)

A shorty 510, unsealed extender does not work as the Killer center positive post pushes the extender positive center post down too far for most mods. (The shorty 510 extender is a few mm shorter than Killer's proprietary adapter.)

There has been a bit of discussion among those of us using Killers for BF RBA or dripper about taking a bit of height off chimney to reduce overall height.

When Killer sits unused there is a tiny bit of juice, and I mean tiny, that collects at join point of Killer base and adapter top. Virtually insignificant.

I've been vaping stock coil/wick for over a week on VV BF REO with my gunky juice. I've rinsed the wick coil a couple of times and daily dryburn to degunk coil.

Looking forward to using one in one of my Phianic tanks.

Vaping on my Killer, sitting in my brand new Angel tank.

So far so good, but I will update later on performance after I've been through a couple tanks.

I think I'm in trouble though, because I like this tank... and the Trap Tank is back in stock at gr-modders. UGH!!! :p

That's the one I really wanted ... decisions, decisions...

EDIT: had to add, these are the tightest and best fitting end-caps I've ever seen. Took me longer to get a cap off of this than it took me to get both caps off either my Phiniac or IBTank. Impressive. Went back on with no issues too.

Just control operation seems to work just fine. It's a good fitting tank. I kind of wish the tube weren't frosted, but I'm 80% sure I'm picking up a damn Trap Tank.

Im not sure what to make of the Killer so far. I ran it with the juice feed wide open. I would get air lock and I would just wiggle the top cap (in my case very easy to do) and would get bubbles. Working fine but just needed to wiggle now and again.

Second time after refill I just opened the juice feed a tiny bit. Was getting flooded like crazy. Closed it up (or so I thought so) and it started working fine but I was paranoid that since its closed it would dry up. So I opened the juice feed back up just a tiny bit, FLOOD! So I close it back and have been using it non stop for a full day, and while the vape is on the dryish side it seems that it keeps wicking. So I guess even though I think its closed it really isnt. It must be open by just a hairs width.

So Im still playing with it. I guess maybe the answer is to have it essentially closed when using in my Jazz Carto Tank. Gonna switch back to the cartomator next and see if it works better with the juice feed almost closed.

I have better performance with the juice feed mostly closed.

I run 40% VG juice... and about 40% open on the juice control is pretty much perfect for me.

Have you tried the vacuum trick where you cover the holes of the killer and inhale sharply? Creates the right air pressure to keep it going (for me anyway).

No I have not tried that trick but Im totally lost. The holes are inside my tank, no? Where are the holes I should cover. Do you mean to twist the juice feed closed then suck sharp then twist open again?

Leave your juice feed as-is.

There are 2 holes on the bottom of your Killer that stick out of the bottom of your tank. One is the bottom of your 510 connection. The other is in the threads. It takes a little effort to get both of them plugged at the same time, but you'll know when you do, because you'll get zero airflow, and your Killer should make bubbles.

Let me know how that goes.

She means the air hole on the threads that screw into your mod.

Ok. bummer. I cant try that either because unfortunately the bottom cap fits so loosely that it just spins. I cant actually remove the tank unless I take the tube entirely off and grab the 705 with my hand and unscrew it. Im almost about out of juice and going to switch to the cartomator which wont have this issue in any way what so ever.

If your PV is flat top and neither the PV or your tank have airflow channels in them, you can try pushing your tank down on the top of your PV and do the sharp inhale. Depends on what you're running though.

Okay, update after a few tanks/few hours.

I love this tank! It performs well, it's easy to refill, easy to use, not even a hint of a leak, and the air pressure is simple to maintain. My only gripe at all with the tank is that the tube is frosty...

I might have a Trap Tank in my future. They seem to be going pretty quickly, so I need to make up my mind!!!

It's the Angel Tank by Kir Fanis (gr-modders.com). It was what they had in stock when I went looking for one that had SS caps. The Angel seems every bit as good as the Trap, but the tube isn't completely clear (it's not exactly frosted either... it's ... textured?). I knew that getting into it, but it was ~10 euro cheaper than the Trap and actually in stock at that time. Now they have Traps and Prives (prives don't ship til the 15th though).

I may or may not have just ordered both a Trap and a Prive....

It's a shame that hiding my credit cards will do no good. I have the numbers memorized. So does Paypal.
