So Cal
My tank was cut exactly the right length for the killer to be flush on both sides so ill just have a bit of wasted juice here and there.

chadsmo you recvd it already I assume ?

can you please put a pic up and give me the measurements. might have them make me some glass too

The Killer is a dripper and a bottom feeder and a fancy carto.

Thank you for sharing this assessment. I just got my Killer and I have a pair of Divers on the way, and was wondering what the merits of the Killer were if the Divers are as good as people say. I'm not sure that I'll ever get a bottom feeding mod, but I can see using mine as a dripper.

I'll share more feedback after I use this more and get my Divers, but I will say that the Killer has been working great for me in 19mm XL and 22mm XL IBTanked tubes with SS caps using the extended bell. I thought that I would need to spin the bottom cap to control the juice flow (which would be a problem because the caps are so tight), but figured out that if I push the tank up to the top of the bell that the bottom adapter spins with a little bit of effort (using a paper towel or cloth to grip it helps a lot). I haven't found much of a need to fiddle with or close it - I pretty much keep it open and it hasn't accidentally flooded. I've found it to be very portable and on par in that respect with a cartomizer.

after all this diver talk i want one, now that theyre sold out. and so it goes.

got my ebaron dripper today. works pretty well. I mainly got it for looks as the killer in dripper mode works almost exactly the same. ebaron dripper well might be a bit bigger.

on another note chadsmo I got the Nimbus hitting pretty hard now. bored out the holes to 1/16 and wrapped with 29g kanthal.

I bought the Dripper Pro at the same time as my Provari mini because I just loved the look of it so much. It almost never leaves my Provari, that combo is what I vape 90% of the time. Only at night time on couch do I put it down for my genesis (which currently has a 1 ohm 28g 6 wrap that's performing amazingly well).

As for the Nimbus , I'll probably be taking the air holes out to 1/16 myself as well. I'm just not sure if I'm going to get it professionally done or not , it's so pretty.

I'm backwards. Killer is on my full size provari all day while at work. At home and coffee shop I think im going to use the mini with ebaron. I like to double fist so when im at home I keep a mech with 1.0 ohm coil wrapped 29g five wrap.

If your fairly confident in your ability im sure you can bore it out yourself. I wrapped mine in a cloth and VERY GENTLY put it in a vice. Before that I wrapped the atty in painters tape. Used a needle to poke holes to mark original locations. Make sure you use a high quality drill bill or it will wander or youll chew a bit up. Start slow, what you see it working its way in speed it up a little till you punch through.

I drilled out my AGAT2 top cap myself. I just opened a vice up about 1/2 inch and put a cloth over top so I could cradle the cap in it. Then I just pushed down real tight to keep it in place. It worked well enough, you can't really tell it wasn't like that to begin with.

To get back on topic. My Killer will probably move to my all day device when my ibtanked setup is here and the Mamu mod that its going to live on joins the party. Both things should be soon.

First let me say that I want a Diver, I think they look awesome. However, the at the end of the day the Diver is just a fancy carto.

The Killer is a dripper and a bottom feeder and a fancy carto. The other day I was about half way through the tank and I just didn't feel like vaping the flavour anymore. So I got the juice control closed , vaped the remaining juice till I felt a dry hit coming on and then dripped the rest of the day with the killer. Later that night I opened the juice control back up and went back to the juice in the tank. It's pretty handy if you keep a juice in the Killer tank that you like but not in large amounts.

While I don't consider the Diver "just a fancy carto", actually I don't consider it a carto at all. I do agree however, that the Killer is more versatile, if you are willing to fiddle with it (and I am) I use mine everyday at home. I was just trying to explain my experience with both and IMHO...if you are going out for the day and just want a dependable, awesome vape, that you probably won't have to fiddle with, the Diver will fulfill this better than the killer. Having said this, I would not be nervous taking the killer, I would just expect it to need a little more attention.

A cobalt bit works great on stainless steel. I've trashed a few high speed steel bits drilling through stainless steel.

chadsmo, I'm curious if you'll be able to use dripper mode w/the K705 in your custom IBT?

Depends on how recessed the killer can be inside the cap. I had my tank (in theory) cut to the height of the killer with the juice control about 60% open which is where I keep it, less 1mm to allow for a little play. If my measurements were right the killer should be the exact height if measuring the outer most edges of the caps. The caps take up about 5mm of space themselves so if I need the extra mm or so I can probably get away with it.

I just really wanted to flush mount a drip tip on the top and have as much juice as possible without using an extender. It shipped today and California is straight down from me in BC so I hope to have it in about a week.
