Are you gonna be at the Vapemeet coming up March 15 @ the Poodle Dog in Fife? Its a ways for you but they are always a good time. Were you at the last one at the Pizza place in Tacoma by chance?

I haven't been to any of the vape meets over that way. I don't like to drive that far and BF isn't a smoker or vapor so I don't want to ask him to take me. He'd be bored out of his mind. :( I'd like to someday though.

I rebuilt the killer for the first time using 3.5 mm wick...it was a tight fit. Kinda tough to work in such a tight space in putting the resistance/no resistance wires through the tiny holes...but I was able to do it. Used 30 awg, 4 wrap...1.5 ohms. vaping better than before. The last thing I am waiting for is a sealed 510 connector that's longer than a shortly...I got it from stealthvapes. 21 mm.

I've yet to really have the Killer perform very well.

Getting awful dry hits. I tried the air lock trick mentioned earlier (making sure the air bubble surrounds the juice feed holes) with no improvement.
I've done dry pulls. I've tipped it and done dry pulls through the air. With no improvement.

I've re-wicked this sucker with cotton and still getting the same performance.

Using this with a Phiniac.
I'm considering getting a tank with a fill hole.. Not sure if that will help though.

Any ideas?

I've considered a fill hole as well. Currently I am just lifting up the top cap and allowing as many bubbles as will come out & performance is realy good. Irritated about having to wiggle the cap up every half hour or so. I am going to try each of the many tanks I have. If they all do the same thing, then I will consider a tank with a fill screw. I also ordered an Ebaron Spiral about a week after ordering the Killer. If the Spiral works as well or better to this killer I just might use it as a dripper and sell off the Killer. Time and experience will tell.

If you were using silica, I'd suggest using thicker wick...but with cotton, I don't know.

It's performing the same after rebuild (dry hits, etc). But without the burning silica taste.

I'll try the "keep taking the top off" airlock thing mentioned above. I really want this to perform well...

I have been using the Killer as a dripping atomizer while I wait for my Trap Tank to arrive and I have been having some odd results with different liquids. For some reason I get no flavor when using Boba's Bounty and drastically reduced flavor while using Gorilla Juice, but when I use Cake from Copper Creek it tastes great. I haven't tried any other liquids in it yet but I am a bit confused as to why this would happen. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I have used these liquids in my ZAPs and Vivi Novas and, while the flavor does differ between the devices, I always manage to get good results. The only upside to this might be that liquids I don't like in my ZAP (CC House Blend, for example) will work out better in the Killer and not go to waste.

So if I pop the top of my tank off, I get the bubbles. It still performs "meh."

Now, if I leave the juice control OPEN and push the cap down, forcing the liquid inside it, it performs GREAT until it gets dry again.

I'm reasonably certain a fill hole will make this work better. Or at least make it easier to adjust the pressure inside the tank...

Is anyone having great performance with a Phiniac or IBTank?

If I could get my hands on a UFS......
