Umm, I'm not sure I get what your asking. The parcel containing the coils and no-res wire arrived and I signed for it, but the Killer I ordered 45 mintues before placing that order with the same company did not.

I'm fresh out of ideas.
although my pliers are rubber coated not plastic so they grip pretty good.
Search adeline's posts - she mentioned gauge / something close to your R wire gauge
Although I became quite good twisting the NR with the kanthal, I found the process cumbersome. After checking the beads I decided to go with the wire welder instead. Granted, you need to have basic soldering skills to get your setup going but once done joining those wires is a breeze!
As I recoil everyday due to natural steeped tobacco juices, I can 'mass produce' my setups. I do about 20 of them in a couple of hours now plus it awakens the geek inside me: every little spark and successful weld (above 90% success rate) is a little miracle when I think to the twisting PITA.

Got my Killer in today and realized I don't have any decent tanks; I was never a huge fan of carto tanks. So, I threw it together in one of the cheapie tanks and so far I'm pretty satisfied.

Killer # 1075 arrived today! Thinking I should have ordered extra cups, I'll be firing it up later tonight though... And I guess I'll order more parts then.
Mine arrived too but I won't be home too play around with it til tonight! Argh!

I know I'll need to buy some NR wire, and the link above will help with that. I have a fair amount of Res wire, but where do you get extra ceramic cups? Do you guys just buy the pack of 5 cup/coils from GV?

Great. I'll wait till I get the Killer in to see how I do with it. From what I've seen, it isn't any more difficult than dealing with typical drippers like my IGO-Ls, right?
