Congrats!!! I smoked my Janty and njoy for 3 weeks straight and then decided to try a real cig again. Almost made me gag. Can't stand them now. I didn't even miss the real thing - do you?
Grrr. My manual switches are broken now. Both of them. The manual battery on the Yentyl slipped out of my hand onto my desk, and the button popped off. Then, later, I was tightening the manual switch onto the Classic's atomizer, and it's button just popped out of the unit. It's still attached, but stuck out.
Well, .... happens. I've ordered replacements. It just bums me that I only got one good day of use out of such a great e-cig. And the sheer coincidence that BOTH auto switch and the auto battery were bad out of the box, and then BOTH the manual switch and the manual battery breaks. All I can say is, it sucks to be me.

The Yentyl one maybe with a drop of superglue. I'll try that later. But the Classic one, no. It looks as though the internal mechanisms rotated and the opening for the button doesn't line up right anymore.
We really do need to be careful with these things, don't we... I would be so upset - these things aren't cheap - nor is shipping costs.

Leaford, after 7 incredible days, my pen style model from myecig.com suddently ceased making much vapor. Nothing makes it work again, not charged battery or new cartridge. That happened about three hours before I knocked my e-pipe off a table and watched it shatter on the tile floor. I'm back now -- unthinkable -- to depending on the Health mini cig pulled out of storage and still making little teensy wisps of vapor, and my e-cigar, which I thought was okay until I saw what can be done.

TB,have you tried blowing the atomiser out a few times and dripping some liquid on the atomiser and drysmoking it?then put a cartridge in.it worked for my electronic cigarette pen style.you have probably tried this already anyway-i feel for you man,its awful when your main device fails!

OK, I was still using the Janty atomizer (with an Njoy battery, since I had no switches), and the damn thing slipped out of my pocket this morning at my second job! I was moving around the buiilding starting up about 30 computer workstations in an industrial setting, on elevated metal grill catwalks. I was wearing headphones, so I never heard it drop, I was moving all over the building, so I don't know which area it happened in. It's LOST!

This has been the worst FREAKING night!!
To recap, I got it on Friday. Enjoyed it on Saturday. Broke it on Sunday. Lost it on Monday. I think this makes me the Solomun Grundy of e-cigarettes.
Who knows, maybe it'll show up in lost and found. Doubt it.
And Saturday was my Birthday, so I decided the KISSboxes were my present. Happy freaking birthday to me.
Bad luck aside, I still love and want this thing, so I'm gonna order a new Classic. I've still got the Yentyl atomizer, so with the replacement auto battery I already requested, and the replacement manual battery Ludo just offered I'll be OK there. But the only Classic parts I've got left and working are... the batteries and charger.

I WAS using one of those. I just said it slipped out of my pocket to keep the explanation simple.
I had it in the lanyard bag, around my neck, so I could puff on it while waiting for the computers to process various startup tasks. But I'm going up and down metal ladders, between metal platforms, so I tucked the lanyard bag halfway into a side opening chest pocket on my jacket to keep it from swinging around on its cord.
Being pocketed prevents it from swinging and clanging against the metal railings, the side pocket is easy to access for a drag, and if it slips out, it's on a cord. Safe, right?

Oh man, do I feel for you. I use the lanyard always -- and my e-cigar slipped out twice. Luckily I retrieved it, and it wasn't damaged (like poor Mr. E-Pipe, 2008-2008). What I did recently is add a large slip-bead to the cord parts. A ring would be best. That bead slides down to close off the opening, so the e-cigar can't fall out. Slide it up to take out the cigar. A sombrero-type ring should be standard on those lanyards. A Velcro closure would work, too.

True, but I'm not so worried about someone keeping it as someone thinking it's a pen and just chucking it in the trash. Or that it broke in the fall. The floors are concrete, and as I mentioned I was on elevated metal grill platforms, so it likely slipped through the grill. Only 3 feet or so above the ground, but still.dnakr said:

Not necessary. The job I lost it at is UPS. Any loose items found have to be assumed to be from a package which has broken open, and must be turned in to a supervisor. I've let them know to look for it.dnakr said:

The bead I'm using at the moment does not fully seal off the opening (like you, I like to sneak a puff with the tip just out of the lanyard opening). I'm quickly looking for a ring device, however, since the bead came from a shower-bag thing and doesn't completley cover the lanyard opening. I've even tried jewelry pieces from those "string ties" rancher types sometimes wear. I have one with a cattle head skull on it. Very fashionable.
