I received the flavor concentrate, Koolada (thanks John!) and I was wondering if that can be used by itself in a mix for a good menthol flavor (for my wife- I don't always like menthol) or is it best mixed with something else? I know it CAN be mixed with something else, so just wondering if it can be used as it is.

Also, anyone ever try it mixed with clove?

Koolada doesn't really give a cool feeling in your mouth. It will at the back of your throat where you feel the throat hit. Careful though... Too much, and it will feel like an ice cube is stuck back there, and will make you cough. I use 2 drops of Koolada per ml of liquid. Some use more.

2 drops per mL? Wow! I made 5mL of DIY with 1 drop per mL using a 1mL syringe and it had a heck of a cold hit.

I actually only used one drop per ml at first also, because I found two drops per ml was harsh. But then after bit, I could barely feel it at one drop per ml, so I went back to two drops per ml. I've heard some people using more.

I recommend starting out with one drop per ml...then go from there.
